OnePlus explains One production schedule: what’s available when?

Last week saw OnePlus introduce its One smartphone running a custom CyanogenMod build. Going into this, we knew that sales of the phone would be quite unusual, with OnePlus employing an invitation-based system to give shoppers access to ordering opportunities. At the launch event, OnePlus mentioned nations that would see the One arrive first, as well as the various configuration options that would be available, but just when would we get a chance to buy this ...

LG G3 arriving on May 27, probably accompanied by G Watch

Chances for the LG G3 arriving on May 27 are big, as the company has sent out press invites to an event that will be held simultaneously in London, San Francisco, and New York. Events in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul are set to follow the second day, and we can’t really think of anything else than the LG G3. We’ve seen its button layout from the backplate get leaked and we know that it will probably have the largest screen resolution (2K) of all the phones in its class, including the Xperia Z2, One ...

Here’s why System-in-Package is a big deal for Apple’s upcoming iWatch, and everything else

Pebble and other small companies are already major players in the wearables niche. Google is prepping for an imminent launch of watches powered by Android Wear. Even Samsung has its Gear lineup. Microsoft still needs 41 megapixel camera phones

Microsoft has completed the deal and brought Nokia’s Devices and Services division under its Cloud First, Mobile First umbrella. It seems natural that a discussion popped up amongst us tech folk about the merits of the 41 megapixel sensor that made Nokia a king among camera phones. There are a number of factors to consider when looking at this technology so I wanted to make my case about why Microsoft should continue to push the image-sensing envelope. It’s worth noting that the 41 megapixel sensor is nothing new. The 808 Pureview had that and it didn’t exactly take off like a rocket ...

LG G3 buttons leak in another picture

After seeing the alleged screenshots from the upcoming LG G3, an image surfaced purportedly depicting the LG G3 buttons on the back of the device, backed up by a photo of a case that seems to follow the layout. HTC M8 Prime mentioned by leak, rumored to be in the works

We’ve heard about the HTC M8 Ace, and we were wondering just what exactly it might be; however, according to the rumor mill, it might be a One variant of some sort, which would be cheaper (because of the possible plastic shell), but retain the Snapdragon 801 processor from the One (M8), and a five-inch Full HD form factor for its display. The latest from @evleaks hints that the HTC M8 Prime, which he just mentioned, is the phone to ...
