AT&T has delayed its planned update of the HTC One M8 and M9 older flagships to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, according to the company. The news was dropped by HTC's Mo Versi, the go to guy for all things HTC updates in the United States, while he said the company is working hard to get the update approved in the next couple of weeks.

The beefy Moto X Force, with all its shatterproof screen rugged goodness, is making its debut in India, three months after its launch in other global regions. The Motorola device is the latest push from parent company Lenovo to get more market share in India, Lenovo is currently the fifth largest manufacturer in the country.

Sprint to win 50,000 Customers from T-Mobile in Q4
T-Mobile's turnaround and growth in the last four years has been unprecedented, and while the carrier has bloodied the nose of all its rivals, it delivered more blows to Sprint. Indeed, the Magenta Network replaced Sprint as the third largest carrier in the United States. However, the Now Network is now striking back and 2015 has been its best performance in years, with the fourth quarter set to continue the solid streak.

Samsung Galaxy A7 Passes through FCC
A couple of days after doing the rounds at TENAA, the 2015 Samsung Galaxy A7 has been passed by the FCC, meaning it is clear to launch in the United States. With the handset passing the two regulatory bodies it is all but certain that Samsung is going to unveil the device soon. Sony to make own Processors?
Sony is apparently exploring the idea of producing its own in-house processors, according to Digititmes out of Taiwan. If true, the Japanese company would join the likes of Apple, Samsung, Huawei, and LG as brads that make processors, although only Apple from those companies uses its own silicon exclusively.

Chinese company OnePlus has revealed that every handset in its current portfolio will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the latest full build of Google's platform. Sure, that's only three smartphones, the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, and OnePlus X, but it is still good to see the company getting behind Marshmallow entirely.

Apple Closing Beats Music
When Apple bought Beats Electronics in a multi-billion dollar deal last year, plenty of eyebrows were raised. Was Cupertino really interested in Beats' admittedly sought after headphones and peripherals, or did Apple really have its eyes on the Beats Music streaming service? The latter is the most likely, but Beats Music will cease to exist on November 30th, when Apple will close its doors for good.

Xiaomi Mi 5 Passes Benchmark Software
The ball is finally moving on Xiaomi's Mi 5 flagship handset. It has been nearly 18 months since the company launched the Mi 4, which in smartphone terms is an age. The Chinese giant has been holding out for Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 820 processor, but now that chipset is launched Xiaomi can press ahead with its belated flagship.

Xiaomi Talking with LG to Use Company’s OLED Screen Tech
Chinese company Xiaomi is reportedly going to ditch LCD panels in favor of OLED screens next year and the company will select LG as the supplier of those displays. A report in Korea suggests that the two companies are currently in negotiation for Xiaomi to adopt LG?s components for OLED supplies.

Microsoft Lumia 950 Landing November 20 with AT&T
Microsoft's new Lumia 950 is an excellent smartphone. It has Windows 10 Mobile, has a good list of specs, and is even competitively prices. However, we have discussed before how the handset being a success will be a tall order because of hoe limited it is. In the United States the Lumia 950 will be available only through AT&T, with the carrier announcing that the handset will be available from November 20th.
