Going back to B&H, the Pixel 4a 5G is still 50 dollars off, leaving it at 449. We also have a ton of more deals on iPads, other Samsung products, Smart Watches, gaming peripherals and more in the links in the description.

Qualcomm aims to enhance your listening experience with Snapdragon Sound tech

Let’s move on to Qualcomm as I think the company is trying to solve one of our major pain points with Bluetooth Audio.. Quality and latency. W e’ve known that the company has been releasing certain audio innovations over the years but now, they’re releasing something new. Yesterday the company announced Snapdragon Sound, which is designed to offer a seamless and immersive audio experience across a wide gamut of products like phones and wearables. Basically, they are aiming to optimize wireless audio in such a way were it feels like wired by adding support for 24-bit audio, better pairing, reduced latency and clear voice quality. Qualcomm claims that this suite of audio innovations is compatible with Bluetooth latency values as low as 89 milliseconds, meaning it’s much better for playing games or streaming content. Now, there is a catch. This is actually more like an ecosystem, so there is a new Qualcomm DAC which brings an array of interesting features, which means you need your phone to include it. Devices featuring the Snapdragon Sound platform should hit the market pretty soon, with Xiaomi being one of the first companies to bring it.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G launch is around the corner as specs, price get listed by a retailer

Moving on to Samsung, let’s talk about their A line up which isn’t something we usually do but, the Galaxy A51 was the second best selling smartphone of 2020. Yesterday we got some renders of the phone from Evan Blass and now we have more details as it was just listed by a retailer in Saudi Arabia. Going by the listing, this phone features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity O Display with a 32MP selfie shooter but, it is not clear if it brings high refresh rate or not. It is tipped to bring the Snapdragon 750G SoC, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, a 4500 mAh battery along with a quad camera at the back. Speaking of those cameras, apparently you’re getting a 64MP main sensor, along with a 12MP ultra wide, a 5MP macro and a 5MP depth sensor. According to the listing, this phone should be priced at around 439 dollars and it’ll be up for deliveries around March 7, in Saudi Arabia of course. I mean, it sounds pretty solid to me but, those deliveries sound kind of iffy as, we’re expecting the launch date towards the end of March according to previous leaks.

Apple is reportedly readying an ‘iPad Mini Pro’ for a launch later this year

We could soon see iPads and MacBooks with OLED displays

Let’s shift the spotlight over to Apple and, I’m really excited for these updates. We know that the company is making the move to mini-LED displays very soon, pretty much this month with that new iPad Pro we’re expecting. However, a new report from DigiTimes, Cupertino is planning to move on to OLED as soon as next year. And yes, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about this but, it’s nice to see that the leaks for this are remaining consistent so it is something we should expect. Sticking to iPads but moving on to a different report, according to a Korean blog, an “iPad Mini Pro is currently in Part 2 of “Design Stage” after passing the R&D and planning stages. The report mentions that after this it should go through Design Validation Test, meaning that we should be getting this some time this year for sure. Apparently this iPad Mini Pro could rock an 8.3-inch display, reducing the height of the regular iPad Mini but making it slightly wider. Other things we could be getting include a high refresh rate panel, that same dual camera we’ve been getting on the iPad Pro and either a mini-LED or OLED panel. Of course, we should also expect the A14 Bionic along with Apple Pencil support, some time in the second half of 2020.

Story of the day:

Google’s upcoming launches: Pixel-Buds in mid-April, a phone on June 11

Finally, for the hottest news today, let’s talk about Google.. Because once those Pixel leaks start.. They can’t stop. Last week we had some images of the Pixel 5a from OnLeaks, showing off the whole design but, we were expecting it to drop around August with Android 12. Well, now we have a new tweet from Jon Prosser, where he claims that we should wait for new Pixel Buds coming in mid-April and then Google scheduled a phone announcement for June 11th but, he’s not sure which one it is. The reason we’re mentioning the 5a is because of that leak we got last week, along with the fact that this is closer to the original Pixel 3a’s launch date when compared to the 4a from last year. According to OnLeaks, this phone brings a 6.4-inch OLED display at FHD+, along with a larger stove at the back that houses a 12MP primary camera and a 16MP ultra wide lens. Other features include a headphone jack… yaayyy…, 5G, the same fingerprint scanner at the back and the punch hole at the front. So, it looks like Google is getting rid of the smaller Pixel “a” phone and refreshing the Pixel 4a 5G, which makes sense considering their flagship is a smaller device. We’ll see what we get as, we’re still a couple of months away and, if it’s Google it’ll most likely be leaked.

Want car insurance that’s easy and costs less? Check out Clearcover

When it comes to car accidents, it isn’t a matter of if, but when. The costs associated with vehicle collisions can be quite high, with a minor accident running up a $10K bill. After all, car and property repairs aren’t cheap and don’t even get us started on medical bills. The average consumer simply can’t afford these expenses upfront, which is why driving without insurance is downright illegal in most states.

In the untimely event of an accident, your insurer will bear the brunt of the costs. The trade-off? You have to pay them a hefty premium year after year, and you might be led to believe that you have to stick with coverage that doesn’t really work for you until your policy expires. Truth be told, you’re allowed to switch car insurance companies whenever you want, so there’s no harm in shopping around for better rates.

The hard part comes down to finding the right insurance provider and policy. For something so essential, the process sure is outdated. Traditional insurance can be unnecessarily complicated, so if you’re looking for a modern approach to car insurance, look no further than Clearcover.

Clearcover sells auto insurance that offers better coverage for less, and it does so in a way that’s tech-friendly and convenient. Everything from creating an account to checking prices can be done digitally, so the experience is incredibly fast and easy, with a mobile app for existing customers further supporting that effort. In fact, you can check your price and sign up for a new plan within minutes across thirteen states as of this writing. It’s like Lemonade, but for car insurance.

The best thing about Clearcover is how easy and fast it is to use. The Clearcover team believes that great insurance is something that should quietly exist in the background, and the product was built to support that. Customers can access policy information, pay their bills, and even file claims through their mobile app. You never have to worry about pushy sales reps since the entire experience is digital, although Clearcover’s dedicated customer service team is always on standby in case you need a helping human hand. As one customer puts it, “Clearcover makes getting car insurance a breeze. No talking to agents, waiting for a card to arrive, or getting overcharged because of a bad algorithm.” — J.R.

Accidents happen, but a fast, reliable car insurance company like Clearcover can make finding the right policy and filing claims a lot less stressful. Visit Clearcover today to check your prices with absolutely no obligation.

OPPO Find X3 series launch set for March 11

Let’s stay with the official news as, it looks like we’re in for a busy March, starting with OPPO. We’ve been covering leaks of the Find X3 Series for a while now, including launch dates.. And now we have the real deal. The company took to Twitter to send out press invitations for an event happening on March 11th. No secrets here as they’re titling it OPPO Find X3 Series Launch Event, but it does have the caption “Awaken Color”. That last bit is most likely alluding to the 6.7-inch OLED display we’re expecting which is rumored to bring some impressive capabilities. We’re expecting 3 phones but, speaking about the Find X3 Pro, we’ve heard that this phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 4500 mAh battery, run Android 11 out of the box, and come in a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. As for the cameras, the rumors have pointed to a triple camera array with a new main 50MP lens from Sony and it should cost somewhere around 1000 Euros. We’ll see what we get in a few days.

OnePlus 9 Pro leak predicts support for 4K video capture at 120 FPS

OnePlus 9 / 9 Pro color options tipped ahead of purported March launch

OnePlus 9 series, OnePlus Watch launch date tipped to be March 23

Talking about things we’ll be getting in March, let’s move the spotlight on to OnePlus as we have a lot of ground to cover today. Starting with the date, earlier this morning they posted a new tweet with an image showing the Moon’s surface and the Earth far away with the caption “Something new is on the horizon”. The tweet tells us to stay tuned for March 8th and according to some tipsters, on this specific date we’ll be getting the official date for the event which is reportedly March 23rd. We’re currently expecting 3 phones from OnePlus for the 9 Series, including the OnePlus 9R or Lite, 9 and 9 Pro. Another tipster also shared the color variants we should be getting which will vary depending on what carrier you get. Just to mention the ones for the unlocked variants, the regular 9 is getting an Astral Black, Arctic Sky and Winter Mist, while the 9 Pro will have Stellar Black, Forest Green and Morning Mist. Finally, we also have a new leak on the camera capabilities. According to the tip, the OnePlus 9 Pro will be able to capture 8K video, and 4K videos at 120 FPS. Nice boost when compared to the 4K at 60 we got with the 8 Pro. The new camera setup should include a 50MP main sensor from Sony, along with a 48MP wide angle. And I mean, we’re already in March so leaks should get pretty busy in the next few weeks.

Kuo predicts a foldable iPhone might arrive in 2023

Apple will go for a hole-punch on ‘some iPhones’ in 2022: Kuo

iPhone SE refresh arrives in 2022 with a faster chip and 5G support: Report

Finally, for the hottest news today part one, cause that’s become kind of a theme lately, let’s talk Apple. Let’s begin with the future Apple products, meaning next year and further, and we’ll leave the last segment for the stuff we expect this year. Yes, Ming Chi Kuo went on a rampage yesterday on things we should be expecting from Apple soon and not so soon. Let’s start with the iPhone SE as, we were hearing some rumors that we’d be getting a new model some time this year but, according to Kuo, this refresh won’t happen until 2022. According to his prediction, it will be rocking the same design as the current SE, meaning the iPhone 8 which is kind of disappointing considering it already feels pretty dated. It’ll of course be equipped with the latest A chip and it will bring 5G support. However, there is still rumors for that iPhone SE Plus which has apparently been delayed for the second half of this year. On another note, Kuo also claims that some iPhones might feature a punch hole design next year, claiming that if production yields are good enough, all 2022 models might use the design. This means that Apple either found out a way to hide Face ID under the display, or we’re sticking to Touch ID. Finally, let’s talk foldable, as Kuo mentions that the foldable panel will measure around 7.5 and 8-inches arriving some time in 2023. However, he does claim that this project hasn’t “officially kicked off yet”, meaning there might be a ton of changes and it could probably not even happen.

Story of the day:

Apple is reportedly NOT adopting USB-C for iPhones anytime soon

iPhone 13 series to rock a smaller notch, larger battery, and upgraded camera tech: Kuo

Finally, for the hottest news today, part 2… again.. That’s some very strong coffee Kuo had a sip of, cause he also chimed in on more things we could expect from this year’s iPhones. Let’s begin by talking about USB-C, according to the report, they claim that USB-C is detrimental to their iPhone program’s profitability, but its waterproof specification is actually lower than Lightning and MagSafe, so if Apple does abandon Lightning, they might directly go for a port-less MagSafe iPhone, instead of adopting USB-C. Which I mean, it makes sense I guess, we just hope MagSafe gets better. Moving on to the actual iPhones Kuo is reiterating some rumors we’ve heard before, just giving us some reassurance. He claims that the whole iPhone 13 family will support a smaller notch, with the same width but getting thinner as Cupertino is re-arranging the Face ID sensors. Kuo mentions that both of the Pros will bring 120Hz refresh rate with that new LTPO display. Also, speaking of the Pros, the LiDAR sensor will apparently remain exclusive to those 2 for the time being. Apparently all of the iPhone 13 models will bring sensor-shift image stabilization technology as well, with other improvements to the cameras as well. We’ll also be getting Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X60 5G modem, larger batteries, and again, no USB-C.
