Ahead of official unveiling, the Galaxy M51 is already up for pre-order on Samsung Germany’s website. The handset is scheduled to launch in India soon. The official listing has revealed its major specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 features a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core chipset. Samsung hasn’t revealed the name of the SoC, but it is expected to be the Snapdragon 730. The phone is available in lone 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. Plus, there’s room for a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 512GB.

In the optics department, the Galaxy M51 sports a quad rear camera setup: a 5MP f/2.4 depth camera + a 64MP f/1.8 main camera + a 12MP f/2.2 camera with a 123° field of view + a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera. Further, the phone packs a 7,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It runs Android 10 with OneUI Core on top.

The listing says that the device is available for pre-order for a price tag of €360.01 and the estimated shipping date at checkout is September 11.

Samsung Galaxy M51 has been in the rumor mill for a while now. The device was recently spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification, Geekbench listing and Samsung Russia’s website. Now, specs of the device have appeared online. It could be launched in September.

According to Pricebaba, in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Galaxy M51 could come in 6GB and 8GB RAM options with 128GB of internal storage. It is expected to feature a quad camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor. On the front may lie a 32MP selfie shooter.

The phone is also tipped to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. It is reported to run OneUI 2.1 and pack a huge 7,000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy M51 scored 546 and 1784 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively on Geekbench. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy M31s, Galaxy M51 tipped to feature 64MP cameras

Samsung could launch the Galaxy M31s and Galaxy M51 in India soon. As per a report, both smartphones will come with 64MP main camera.

Galaxy M51 is tipped to launch in late June in India. The report also says that production of the phone largely depends on the ongoing coronavirus situation in the country. Therefore, launch timing could vary.

Further, the device may also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to be a mid-ranger.

As for the Galaxy M31s, it is said to come with a 64MP primary camera and in-display fingerprint sensor as well. It could be launched in the first week of June. It might be shipped with 128GB of internals storage.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 and Galaxy M31s will reportedly carry the model numbers SM-M515F and SM-M317F respectively.
