Nokia is working to bring 4G networks to the moon

Alright, this is not an April joke, I promise. See while carriers are trying to deploy 5G and trying to give us decent LTE speeds here on Earth, it looks like Nokia is trying to put 4G on the moon. Yeah you heard that right. This plan apparently started back in 2018 and now, NASA just gave Nokia $14.1M to help achieve this. The project involves Nokia building a 4G cellular communication network on the moon, which would help for lunar surface research missions. NASA hopes that this new system can support lunar surface communications at greater distances, increase speeds and provide more reliability than the current standards. Honestly, we’re just covering because it’s pretty cool but, let’s see how it pans out.

Google Search, Lens, and Maps get new features to make your pandemic life easier

Now let’s talk about Google as, the company surprised us with their “Search On” Event yesterday which focused mainly on the improvements coming to Google Search and more. Some of the updates they announced include new shortcuts for Google Lens that appear on both the Google App and Chrome for Android. Google is also significantly improving the “Did You Mean” spell correction on Google Search with their BERT neural network. Search will now be able to show you cars inside and out by using the same technology they use for their 3D animals and cellular models. Another cool feature is letting you Hum to Search, for those of you that didn’t get to Shazam the song while it was playing but you still have the melody stuck in your head. Of course, this is just a quick recap of what Google showed but, if you want more technical details make sure to check the links in the description.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei confirms departure from the company

Let’s move on to OnePlus as, the company has been in the spotlight a lot this week, first with the reports of Carl Pei leaving, then the event and of course the teasers they put out afterwards. But now it’s finally official, Carl Pei put out a statement earlier today where he confirmed that he is leaving the company. He talked about his 7 year journey with the company, his growth and how he is looking forward to take some time off to decompress and catch up with his family and friends, after that he will follow his heart on to what’s next. All of the rumors point to him moving on to create his own venture so again, we wish you the best in your future endeavors Carl.

Samsung Galaxy S21 may launch sooner than expected

Now let’s talk Samsung as the company usually releases their smartphones on February and maybe even March but, apparently this may not be the case for the S21. There’s been several rumors that we’ll be getting this phone earlier next year and it might just be true. According to Sam Mobile’s sources, due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been decided that there will be a late January or pretty early February, 2021 release. Multiple reports suggest that Samsung’s suppliers have begun mass production for different components of the S21 which also hints to that earlier release. On another note, the S21 just went through a 3C certification, showing the model number, the fact that it brings 25W fast charging and a battery rated at 3880 mAh which pretty much means 4000 and we had seen before. So yeah, it’s pretty early and all things might change but, it looks like we’re getting Galaxies early.

Story of the day:

Apple iPad Air 4th Gen is now available to pre-order starting today

Apple’s ARM-powered Mac could debut on November 17

Apple might finally launch the AirPods Studio in March next year

And finally, the hottest news today has to do with Apple. Yes, today was pre-orders day for the iPhones and the iPad Air, managed to get all of them, but wait, there’s more. Jon Prosser was busy yesterday as he shared a lot of leaks of what to expect from Apple in the coming weeks. He started off by showing a screenshot from Best Buy Canada where the iPad Air is listed to come out on October 23rd, like he predicted earlier and which we covered yesterday and became a reality today. After that he mentioned that sadly, we won’t be getting an Apple TV this year despite all of the other leaks we’ve had. Moving on to something I am pretty interested on, he said that there will be a November Event, specifically for the ARM Macs. According to his sources the event could happen on November 17th with the teaser for it coming out on the 10th. And to conclude Prosser’s leak bomb, he claims that Apple’s next Event after November will happen on March 16th, 2021, with the headliner for that being the AirPods Studio. Oh but we’re not done, Love to dream tweeted out MESA UTS for iPhone, of course we needed a translation to that and Prosser replied with saying “Mesa means Touch ID” and uts means under the screen. So that feature might still make it to an iPhone, but we just wonder what year

Apple’s MacBook Air, previous generation iPad Pro and more devices are on sale today

The official news today begin with deals, and surely Prime Day ended last night, but it seems the madness is not necessarily over as there are some more deals left. The MacBook Air is currently $150 off, this leaves the entry level, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage variant for $850. If no worries, even if specs are decent, those of you wanting more storage will also find a good deal for that in the links. It’s a checkout discount so, first read $50 and then you’ll get the extra hundred. The 2017, 10.5in iPad Pro is $299 off, leaving the Wi-Fi + Cellular, 64GB variant for $480 shipped. Finally, he Galaxy S20+ is $203 off, leaving the 128GB of storage variant for $997. We also have deals on the Exynos Galaxy Note 20, Marshall Headphones, the iPad Mini and more in the links in the description.

Google is promising nine years of Chrome OS updates for a few Chromebooks

Let’s shift the spotlight on to Chromebooks, because yeah why not and especially now that we’re all working from home. I actually didn’t know that most, if not all Chromebooks come with an Expiration Date which is called “Auto Update Expiration.” Once it can no longer receive any Chrome OS updates, well that’s it. Thing is Google is now giving some Chromebooks 9 years of guaranteed support, which I’m not sure if existed before, so talk about longevity, though it might only apply to new models. Recently Google updated their support page, and Android Police noted that the latest HP and Lenovo Chromebooks that came up would get support until June 2029. At the moment it’s only available for these two model and, a common factor between these two Chromebooks is that they bring AMD processors so, let’s see if Google adds this for more Chromebooks as it would make the experience better knowing you’ll be able to have this device for a pretty long time. That being said, seriously who holds on to a computer for 9 years? The furthest I’ve gone is 5.

OnePlus announces a Cyberpunk 2077 Edition of the OnePlus 8T

Now let’s move on to OnePlus as, yesterday we got the 8T and the Buds Z but it looks like the company has some other things up their sleeve. The official OnePlus handle on Weibo has announced that there will be a Cyberpunk 2077 Edition of the OnePlus 8T. It will go on pre-orders on November 4th but, the problem is that it’ll only be available in China. Really, we’re covering it because it’s their first collaboration after their contract with McLaren ended, so we have some hopes that we will get more Limited Edition phones in the future. Another thing we were expecting yesterday was the OnePlus Watch. Now, the company just tweeted out a new teaser with some original sketches from the Watch that date back to 2015 and said: More things coming to the OnePlus Ecosystem, it’s just a matter of time. So yeah, we’ll probably be getting it with the OnePlus 9, we just hope they price it like those Buds Z.

Samsung takes it against Apple for ditching power adapters after iPhone 12 launch

Now, let’s move on to Apple for the rest of the show. Umm, I’m just going to start this segment by asking, do you guys remember this? You know, that Ad where Samsung mocked Apple about not bringing a headphone jack? Well, that same ad was removed once the Galaxy Note 10 came out.. With no headphone jack. Well, they’re at it again, they are posting pictures of their charging bricks on social media saying “included with your Galaxy”. The caption also adds, your galaxy gives you what you are looking for, from the most basic as a charger, the best camera, battery, performance and a 120Hz display. The real question here is, how long do you think it will take before Samsung remove the charging brick from the box. They did already remove the earbuds, and speaking of that, we’ve learned that the lack of earpods for iPhones doesn’t apply in France for some reason. Anyways, based on the headphone jack story, I give them one to two years.. Cause that’s just what competition does.

New iPad Air may be getting closer to launch, as it receives FCC approval

Now let’s talk about an unreleased product that’s already official, cause yes, that seems to be the Apple thing to do lately. Last month Apple introduced the redesigned iPad Air but, they simply said they were launching it “at some point in October”. Well, the cellular models for this devices just went through the FCC showing us the usual things like the model number and their classifications. Several rumors suggest that we’ll be getting these on Friday, October 23rd. These iPads will start at $599 for the Wi-Fi models, with the cellular models starting at $729. I’ve been using the regular 10.2in iPad which has so far been great, make sure you watch that review, but obviously this device brings the A14 that the iPhone 12 is launching, so that’s why I really can’t wait to give it a try.

Story of the day:

Early iPhone 12 Pro benchmarks show up to 25% performance gain over iPhone 11 Pro

And Finally, for the hottest news today, let’s actually continue talking about that A14 Bionic, and how it impacts the iPhone 12 that launches for pre-orders tomorrow. We have some new early benchmarks that belong to the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. These benchmarks were conducted on Geekbench and just keep in mind that, all four iPhones are rocking the same processor so, when the ones for the regular models come out the main difference here should depend on the RAM. The 12 Pro lists a single-score of 1597 and a multi core score of 4152, that is 26% faster than the iPhone 11 Pro which listed 1327 and 3289. The 12 Pro Max listed 20-26% faster than the 11 Pro Max did. Actually, the 12 Pro’s performance is roughly in line with the iPad Air which also brings the A14 Bionic. In typical Apple fashion, Cupertino is marketing these as the fastest smartphone chip ever and sure we know that the new camera improvements are impressive but usually, iPhones don’t really take full advantage of it, at least not on your day to day use. And that’s mainly the reason for today’s question..

Apple Stores could be receiving iPad Air, but no iPhone 12 shipments

A couple of weeks ago, we received information claiming that Apple would launch its new iPhone 12 lineup on October 13. Last week, Jon Prosser posted a tweet, where he claimed that Apple would be getting ready to ship its new iPhone to distributors as soon as this past Monday. The first information was confirmed, as Apple recently posted an invitation for its next digital-only event. The second could not be entirely accurate, as Apple Stores may have started to receive new devices, but these would be the new iPad Air models.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, shipments of a new Apple device have started to arrive at Apple Stores “for opening at a later date.” These are expected to be the newest iPad Air model, which may go on sale at some point in October, as he believes that it’s too early for the iPhones to be arriving in stores.

The latest iPad Air model was presented during Apple’s September 15 event, but unfortunately, we didn’t get a specific launch date for this device. This new device will come with the same Apple A14 Bionic chip as the upcoming iPhone lineup, so maybe Apple has decided to wait until after the iPhone 12 is available to release it. That way, it would also prevent benchmark scores and further details of the chip from being leaked ahead of the iPhone presentation.

Maybe thing’s would’ve been different if Apple had managed to launch its new iPhones in September, as it has done in previous years. Whatever the case, we might see the iPad Air be officially released after the October 13 event, or maybe when the iPhone 12 becomes available for purchase. Now, if you want to know everything that will happen during next week’s Apple event, you should look at the latest leak that details everything we are supposed to receive.

Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro, the latest 10.2-inch iPad and more on sale today

The official news today begin with deals, and actually good ones if you’re in the market for some expensive Apple products. Let’s start today with the 16in MacBook Pro which is currently $400 off, leaving the Intel Core i9, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage variant for $2399. If you want the silver variant which I’m rocking, that one has a $350 discount. The new 10.2in iPad is $30 off, leaving the entry level variant for $299 but if you want more storage, the 128GB variant is available for $395. Finally, the Jabra Elite 75T that I currently use for working out are $30 off, leaving them at $150 shipped. We have more deals on BenQ monitors, Nintendo Switch accessories, SSD s and more.

Fossil Gen 5E offers Snapdragon 3100 and Wear OS smarts at a more affordable price point

Sticking to the official news, let’s talk about smartwatches, but not necessarily what we thought we’d receive. I mean, Google sort of invested in Fossil a while back, and we were hoping to see some light on that, but all we got is Fossil to announce the brand new Gen 5E. It brings a lot of the same hardware as the regular Gen 5 but it manages to bring down the price tag. It’s powered by the new Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage and one-day battery life. It runs on Google’s Wear OS and offers NFC. Variants bring a 1.19in AMOLED Display and it comes ion 42mm and 44mm sizes. It has a weird “tethered” GPS, meaning it uses the GPS from your phone instead of it’s own sensor so, if you’re into running, this one’s not for you… which hey the WearOS algorithm for running is something I wouldn’t recommend anyway. Thing is it’ll begin shipping on the week of November 3rd and it starts for $249.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 could be getting closer to launch

This year is finally winding down when it comes to dates, but not when it comes to announcements. One of the things we usually get by the end of the year is Qualcomm’s latest processor and this year won’t be no exception. The company just sent out press invitations for their 2020 Tech Summit which will happen on a digital format. The event will start on December 1st and end the next day. There’s no mention just yet on what we’re getting but, we are expecting the Snapdragon 875 SoC which will reportedly be built on a 5nm process. There’s also some rumors of different lite variants for this SoC, to help lower down the price tag for upcoming flagships. Thing is yes, no Maui trip this year.. Cause I guess we have to make way for the alien landing at some point.

OnePlus 8T 5G to feature an ultra-wide-angle selfie camera?

Now let’s talk OnePlus as you know things are just gearing up to their announcement. We’re less than 10 days away from OnePlus’ Ultra event for the 8T and well, the company keeps giving us bits and pieces of what to expect. This time they tweeted out “Strike a Pose with the 8T’s Ultra Wide Angle Camera” along with a 5 second teaser. It sort of implies that this is the selfie camera, but we doubt it’ll be the case. We will be getting the same punch hole design we got on the 8 Series but not a secondary one. Let’s see what improvements they bring to the standard Ultra Wide. The 8T is tipped to bring a 6.5in display running at 120Hz, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 4500 mAh battery. The rumored price tag so far is $699 so, we’ll keep you posted as the event will be happening on October 14th.

Under display camera could skip the Samsung Galaxy S21, to arrive in the next Z Fold 3

Now let’s talk Samsung and what the company has in store when it comes to innovation. Last we’ve heard, not much if Samsung mobile is planning to work with other companies that are not Samsung for Displays. Anyways, last year Samsung introduced different types displays like the Infinity O which is the one we’re currently getting on their smartphones but, we know that their main goal is to put the camera under the display to give you a truly bezel-less experience. Well, according to a new report from the Elec, Samsung was aiming to put this technology on the Z Fold 2 but, that obviously didn’t happen. And, they claim that due to low production yield of the technology, they won’t be able to put it on the Galaxy S21 but, we would still get it next year. The report claims that the technology would be ready for the second half of 2021 and that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first device to bring it. Samsung is currently working on a better solution for the under the display camera that won’t compromise as much image quality than what current solutions do. Let’s just hope the S21 brings Samsung panels, though.

Story of the day:

iPad Air 4 benchmark listing reveals 4GB RAM and impressive performance gain

And finally the hottest news today have to do with Apple, the A14 Bionic, and more details on the new iPad Air. On the first report we have the iPad Air going through some benchmarks and revealing specs. Apparently it’ll bring 4GBs of RAM, running on iOS 14 and the A14 that’ll power it will be a 6-core processor. On a second note, and staying on the iPad topic for a little while, Apple’s VP of Marketing went on iJustine and Jenna’s Same Brain podcast to talk about the new iPad. On it, he mentioned that the Touch ID sensor on the power button was an incredible feat of engineering which is, kinda hilarious, considering how late they are to the power button trend. Still, more was said about the chip, which was then matched with some other benchmarks that emerged on it. He said that when comparing it to the A12Z, the 12Z is optimized for pro workflows and experiences that may be more graphic intensive, but the A14 offers more all-around capabilities. If you look at the separate benchmarks, and to sum it up and not bore you with details: it’s significantly faster than the A13 Bionic, and it still does better than the A12Z in both single core and multicore. Surely not the 40% Apple mentioned cause that’s an A12 Bionic comparison, but still a really big boost. The iPad Air will be available later this month with a starting price of $599.

Now, the Galaxy S20+ can be yours starting at $996.27, depending on the color variant you choose, and it also comes with 128GB in storage space. The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S20 is getting a $200 discount, leaving it at $800, or you can grab the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 20 with the same storage and the same price as the regular Galaxy S20.

Samsung unveils new 108MP, 64MP, 48MP, and 32MP mobile camera sensors with 0.7μm pixels

Is this the price of the new Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition?

I know, there’s a lot of Apple news going on today, so before we begin, let me give you some Samsung news for a change. The company just announced their new ISOCELL line up which will be used in their upcoming devices. They announced the 32MP ISOCELL JD1, the 48MP ISCOCELL GM5, the 64MP ISOCELL GW3 and finally, the 108MP ISOCELL HM2 which will most likely make it to the S21. It’s apparently 15% smaller than it’s predecessor, and it brings Super PD which is a faster and more effective phase detection autofocus. It’s capable of 9 in 1 pixel binning and doing 120fps video at 4K. It’ll also allow for 3x lossless zoom and it’ll begin mass production in Q3. Speaking of Q3, another product we’re waiting on is the Galaxy S20 FE, and we have a new leaked price tag from a Slovakian company. According to them the S20 FE will start at €699 and remember, we’re expecting this phone to bring a 6.5in display running at 120Hz, the Snapdragon 865, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We’ll keep you posted as we’re getting really close.

Fitness+ is Apple’s way of helping you get fit

Let’s start today’s Apple talk with the new services they announced today. First off, at a time when working out from home has become a thing, Cupertino just decided to pretty much hit their competitors hard with Apple Fitness+. This is a service which they describe as a new engaging and personalized fitness experience that’s capable thanks to your Apple Watch. Fitness+ gives you different Studio Workouts, like Yoga, Cycling, HIIT and more with Apple’s new trainer team, because yes, they even have trainers for this. It allows you to choose the workout on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV and will automatically connect to your Watch, showing you your metrics on both displays. Yeah if you’ve seen how the Peloton App works, this is pretty much the same thing. Fitness+ will be available later this year for $9.99 and it supports your family plan for that money, but wait, there’s more. The rumors that Apple was going to consolidate all of its services into one just became true, with Apple One. This basically let’s you pay a fixed rate for a bundle of services instead of paying separately, but not all bundles are created equal. There’s three different tiers, Individual which includes some iCloud storage, Apple Music, Arcade and TV+ for $14.95 a month. Family, which includes Apple Music, TV+, Arcade and more iCloud storage for more users for $19.95. Finally, they also launched Premium, which includes those same four along with more iCloud storage, Apple News, and Fitness+ for $29.95. It will bring a 30 Day free trial and it’ll be available this fall, and guys we already have Spotify complaining about how this will hurt them bad.

This is everything Apple’s new A14 Bionic has to offer

Now, let’s talk about Apple’s brand new chip, the A14 Bionic which will power most of Apple’s devices going forward this year, including the iPhones. This is major, as Apple has just announced the first ever 5nm processor, and it’ll debut on one of its newer iPads. This 5nm architecture means they were able to fit 11.8 Billion transistors into this thing. It brings 6 CPU Cores, divided in 4 high efficiency cores and 2 high power cores. It has 4 GPU Cores with a 30% increase in graphics performance, which theoretically means that any device powered by it will handle graphics nearly two times better than your standard laptop. It features a much faster Neural Engine with this 16-core architecture and takes up to 11 trillion operations per second. To put it simple, this processor accounts for a 40% boost in CPU performance and again, a 30% boost in graphics. According to Apple it makes it easier to edit 4K videos, create art, play immersive games, and at a time when Apple is making a full move into Apple Silicon, this is the first indication that what we saw at WWDC was just the tip of the iceberg.

Apple Watch Series 6 can measure your blood oxygen saturation level and starts at $399

Family Setup: You can now pair your iPhone to multiple Apple Watches

It is official, we have a new Apple Watch SE

Let’s move on to the Apple Watch which actually got some pretty major upgrades today if you think about it. First, they announced the new Series 6. It brings the new S6 processor which is based on the A13 Bionic, 18 hour battery life and Apple’s new U1 chip for short-range wireless location. It brings an enhanced Always On Display, and new features like a Blood Oxygen Sensor and dedicated app, and an Altimeter. They also released a new Apple Watch SE for those of you looking for a more affordable solution. The Watch SE brings somewhat of the Series 4’s design with a display that’s 30% larger than the Series 3, and it features the S5 chip, meaning you still get pretty good performance. It brings some of the features from the Series 6 like the altimeter, gyroscope and fall detection but of course, we have some caveats. No Always-On Display, no ECG and other new features. Now probably the coolest change is this new Family Setup feature, which basically let’s you get an Apple Watch for your kids or other people who don’t have an iPhone. It let’s you use one iPhone to set up the Watch and it then gives you Health and Safety features, like location alerts for your kids and also the fitness tracking. The Apple Watch Series 6 will cost you $399, while the SE will set you back $279. Oh, and did I mention that they won’t bring a charging brick?

Story of the day:

Apple’s 8th Gen iPad brings the power of Neural Engine and is still affordable at $329

New iPad Air brings updated design, A14 Bionic processor, and more

And finally the hottest news today have to do with a few things. The first, iOS 14, iPad OS 14, watchOS 7 are al available today. No word yet on MacOS Big Sur. Also, well, Apple just confirmed the death of charging bricks with an excuse to the environment.. Yup.. That’s a thing, and third is that this year marks 10 years of iPad, so we have serveral new models. First off, they announced the new 8th generation iPad, but well, it’s the same 10.2in Retina Display iPad we got last year with the same design, but now it’s powered by the A12 Bionic which brings the Neural Engine to the entry level iPad. It’ll also cost $329 just like the previous model did but only for 32 gigs, which god even the Apple Watch brings in storage. But, let’s move on to the most interesting upgrade, the iPad Air. Let’s just say it’s almost like the 2018 iPad Pro, but with some improvements and caveats. It now brings an edge-to-edge 10.9in Liquid Retina Display. Sadly it doesn’t bring Face ID but, Apple moved Touch ID to the power button at the top to fit the new display. What’s cool is this is the first device powered by the A14 Bionic, which we discussed earlier, again making it more powerful than standard laptops according to Apple and giving it a major performance boost. It brings a flat back with the same camera design as the older iPad Pros. Speaking of the camera, 7mp selfie shooter and the main shooters is 12MP like the iPad Pro. It now brings USB-C and 20W power that actually comes in the box it seems. It’ll be available tomorrow in 5 different colors for $599 and it’ll support all your usual accessories like the Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil 2.

This is everything Apple’s new A14 Bionic has to offer

Apple has also launched a new iPad Air during its latest event, but we will focus on what’s powering the show, as this will be the most powerful iPad Air thanks to the new Apple A14 Bionic chip.

Apple’s goal is to build a chip with industry-leading performance, powerful custom technologies, and extremely efficient energy use. It also desires to make every one of its products best in class,” and it seems that new iPad Air users will get the most of these words. As the new iPad Air comes with cutting-edge silicon process technology with its new A14 Bionic, which has been created with 5nm process tech.

The scale of this new process is so small that the 5nm transistors’ dimensions are measured in atoms, and it allows Apple to pack 11.8 billion transistors into the A14 Bionic, which translates to an increase of almost 40 percent over the last 7nm chip. More transistors also mean new features, increased power efficiency, and increased performance in almost every chip aspect. This new architecture runs more instructions in parallel, giving better performance at lower power in its new 6-core chip design, which offers two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. This makes the CPU 40 percent faster than the previous iPad Air model.

The A14 Bionic also features Apple’s latest GPU architecture, which has been scaled to deliver maximum sustainable performance, and it also provides 30 percent faster graphics without being so power demanding. To put this in perspective, the new iPad Air has two times faster graphic performance than a standard laptop, which is larger, thicker, and heavier. So if you want to edit 4K videos, create a masterpiece, or just play your favorite games, the new iPad Air with the A14 Bionic will handle every task without a problem.

Further, the A14 Bionic also features a much faster Neural Engine, thanks to its 16-core architecture. It will be able to take on 11 trillion operations per second, which makes it two times faster than the previous generation models, and ten times faster in ML operations thanks to its Machine Learning Accelerator.

Fresh leak again mentions Apple Watch SE, reveals details of Apple’s upcoming iPads

It’s raining Apple leaks right now. After details about Apple’s upcoming smartwatches emerged earlier this month, prolific tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has now revealed more about Apple’s upcoming iPads and the smartwatches – the Apple Watch Series 6 and the Apple Watch SE. Starting with the juicy details first, Blass claims that Apple is about to launch its 4th Gen iPad Air and that it will feature a USB Type-C port, just like the iPad Pro that made its debut earlier this year. The device will be powered by Apple’s new in-house A14 processor, the same chipset that will likely provide the muscle for the iPhone 12 series.

Blass also claims that Apple has lined up an 8th Gen iPad that will draw power from the A12X processor and will feature a Lightning port instead of going for a USB Type-C interface. However, Blass didn’t mention when the two new iPads will be launched. But considering Apple’s release cycle, we expect the two tablets to go official in a few weeks from now. However, there is a small chance that Apple might pull a surprise and unveil the 4th Gen iPad Air and the 8th Gen vanilla iPad at its September 15 event, where the company is expected to launch the Apple Watch Series 6.

Talking about smartwatches, Blass notes that the Apple Watch Series 6 will come in two sizes and will be sold in two versions – Bluetooth-only and a cellular variant. No surprises there. More importantly though, Blass also mentions that an Apple Watch SE will also be launched, and just like the Apple Watch Series 6, it will also be sold in sizes and an equal number of variants based on cellular connectivity. As per a previous leak, the Apple Watch SE will be an affordable offering that will be up for grabs in 40mm and 44mm sizes, and that it is being positioned as a cheaper alternative to the Apple Watch Series 6. You can check ou the upgrades that the Apple Watch Series 6 will bring here.
