Kiwis have endured a pretty shaky week as the Pacific Rim continues to unseat and reseat itself in different positions. While this announcement from Google may not do much to stabilize things, — much less repair satellite links from credit card terminals to banks — tech heads may take comfort in the introduction of Android Pay in New Zealand.

That is, if you have a BNZ Flexi Debit Visa card. Sure, of all the banks serving the archipelago, the Bank of New Zealand might be a giant, but only a debit card so far?

Well, anyways, you’re able to use Android Pay at the following outlets:

Apple Pay also has limited support in New Zealand with ANZ cards.
