The powerful RedMagic 6 series goes global on April 9

Nubia launched its RedMagic 6 series of gaming smartphones earlier this month, on March 4 in China. Now, the company has announced the availability details for the global users. The RedMagic 6 and RedMagic 6 Pro will be available to pre-order starting from April 9th with a chance to get the free RedMagic TWS. Further, the devices will go on open sale starting April 15.

Nubia is making only one variant of both the devices available for the global users. The RedMagic 6 with 12GB RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at USD 599 / EUR 599 / GBP 509. It will be made available in Eclipse Black color. On the other hand, the RedMagic 6 Pro is priced at USD 699 / EUR 699 / GBP 599 for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It will sell in Moon Silver color. 

The duo features a 6.8-inch display that has a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. What’s special about it? The smartphone supports a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 500Hz single finger touch sampling rate. Furthermore, you get a 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. 

The RedMagic 6 series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup of 64MP primary + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro. On the front lies an 8MP selfie shooter. The RedMagic 6 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports a massive 120W fast charging. In contrast, the vanilla model packs a 5,050mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

Red Magic Cyberpods to go on open sale starting Dec 5

Nubia launched the Red Magic Cyberpods TWS gaming earbuds in July. These went on sale in Europe starting November 20. Now, the company has announced its global availability and open sale date of the earbuds. These will be sold in Europe, North America, Asia Pacific (Australia, Hong Kong(China SAR), Indonesia, Japan, Macao(China SAR), Singapore), Middle East, and Latin America.

The earbuds are priced at $49.9 / €49.9 / £39.9. Red Magic Cyberpods will be available for open sale starting from December 5th, 3.00 PM HKT / 8.00 AM CET/ 2.00 AM EST. These have RGB lighting for gaming fans. Open the case and a light displays the battery life. The company says these earbuds feature two lights to “create a gaming ambient lighting environment.”

Nubia promises a low latency experience with its Red Magic Cyberpods. These are claimed to offer 39ms audio latency and a “Gamer Mode” that can be manually turned on or off. Hence, users should seemingly experience no discernible disconnect between what’s happening on their device and what’s playing on the earphones. However, the Gamer Mode is only supported by RedMagic phones. The earbuds offer 60ms latency when paired with other devices. They also support AAC and SBC Bluetooth audio codecs and can be controlled via touch-sensitive controls on the earbuds.

These earbuds went on sale globally starting November 20. Now, they are going on open sale starting December 5.

Nubia has today announced that its Red Magic 5S gaming smartphone is now available for sale globally, following the start of international pre-orders late last month. The Nubia Red Magic 5S is a true-blue flagship that goes the extra mile to deliver an unparalleled mobile experience by offering features such as capacitive shoulder trigger buttons, a dedicated fan under the hood for cooling, and an ultra-fast panel with 240Hz response rate.

The Nubia Red Magic is priced at $579 (€579 / £539) and can now be purchased from the official Red Magic global store in two colors – Sonic Silver and Pulse. For that asking price, you get a flashy device that comes equipped with a super smooth AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device features two stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra support, and 4D vibration feedback is there on the table as well.

Under the hood, you’ll find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 gigs of UFS3.1 storage. There are three cameras at the back, led by a 64MP main snapper that can record 8K videos at 15fps and 4K videos at 60fps. The 4,500mAh battery fitted inside the Red Magic 5S supports up to 55W wired fast charging, and there is support for dual-mode 5G as well.

Nubia Watch is a smartwatch from the future

Nubia launched its latest wearable product, Nubia Watch in late July. It was announced alongside Nubia Red Magic TWS gaming Bluetooth earbuds and the Nubia Red Magic 5S. It is the successor of Nubia Alpha smartwatch that was launched by the company last year. It is priced at 1,799 (~$260) and comes in Black, Red, and Green color options.

The Nubia Watch looks like it comes from the future. It features a 4.01-inch (960×192 pixels) flexible bendable OLED display with 244 PPI pixel density. It s powered by the Qualcomm 8909W (Wear2100) SoC and comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage. Moreover, it weighs just 98 grams.

As for connectivity options, the Nubia Watch includes eSIM 4G support, built-in GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and more. It packs a 420mAh battery that is charged via a proprietary magnetic pin. The wearable is touted to last 36 hours of regular use and 6.5 days on standby. It comes equipped with a silicone strap and an aluminum alloy dial. The smartwatch has a heart rate sensor, and it offers sleep and exercises data as well.

Nubia has announced Red Magic TWS gaming earphones. The President of the company took to Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo to announce the development. He posted a short video render of the earphones.

While wired earphones are generally preferred for gaming audio, the Nubia Red Magic TWS earphones are optimized for gaming. It features an ultra low-latency mode with a delay of just 39ms when used with specific Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone models. 

The design of the device is similar to what we’ve seen before on Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphones. It comes with LED lights on the earphones, and the charging case pulsing. The product will ensure very little delay in the sound, allowing smartphone gamers to quickly hear sound effects in games.

You can now pre-order the transparent Nubia Red Magic 5G

Nubia released its Red Magic 5G a couple of months ago. It went on sale recently in the regular color options – Black, Mars Red, or Cyber Neon.

Now, a fourth option called the Transparent Edition, which was initially introduced has went on sale in China. The company is charging CNY 4,599 (~ $687) for the new option. It comes with 12GB AM and 256GB of internal storage.

Notably, the Nubia Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition doesn’t have a transparent back. Instead, it comes with a sophisticated sticker on the inside of the protective glass. It showcasing where key components are placed without actually revealing stuff like the chipset or any other internals.
