OPPO Find X2 Pro has been named “EISA Advanced Smartphone 2020-2021” by the European Image and Sound Association (EISA), a group comprising 61 of the world’s most respected consumer electronics magazines.

For reference, EISA is the world’s largest independent collaboration of experts in multimedia technologies and offers a global viewpoint of the consumer electronics market.

OPPO has announced the launch of a new Find X2 Pro variant. The OPPO Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition is powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and runs on Color OS 7.1 and Lamborghini theme on top. It comes with a special box that is designed to be opened and closed like the super sports car’s scissor-style door, with Lamborghini’s signature hexagonal and Y-shaped headlights on it.

The OPPO Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition packaging consists of the phone itself, phone case, charger, USB cable, in-vehicle flash charger and wireless earphones. The phone comes in black color and is similar in design to that used in Lamborghini cars.

It is the first phone in the industry to make use of a “heat-absorbing glass process” to create a three-dimensional corrugated fuselage, which has four layers of overlapping-technology that give it a carbon fiber texture similar to the Lamborghini car’s interior. As for the specifications, they are the same as that of the OPPO Find X2 Pro. The company hasn’t revealed price and availability to the handset yet.

OPPO is all set to unveil its 2020 flagship lineup in India. The OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will be launched in the country today. The livestream will begin at 4 PM IST. You can watch the launch event below.

To recall, the Find X2 was also spotted listed on Amazon.in recently. The listing was of the OPPO Find X2 (Black color) 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Moreover, the source code of the page revealed the listing price of Rs 69,990.

However, as per a recent report, the Find X2 is said to retail between ₹60,000 ($789) and ₹65,000 ($855) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. For reference, the same model costs €999 (~$1,126 / ₹85,616) in Europe.

OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro were launched back in March. While the smartphones went on sale in the States, they are yet to be launched in India. We are progressing towards the announcement as OPPO has revealed that it will be launching the Find X2 series at 4 PM IST on June 17 in India.

To recall, the Find X2 was spotted listed on Amazon.in recently. The listing was of the OPPO Find X2 (Black color) 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Moreover, the source code of the page revealed the listing price of Rs 69,990.

For reference, the 12GB + 256GB variant of the OPPO Find X2 costs 999 Euros (~Rs 82,645) in Europe and 5999 yuan (~Rs 63,800) in China. There is no word on their price in India yet. You can read more about the Find X2 here and about the Find X2 Pro here.
