OPPO Reno4 Pro global variant is all set to go official in India today. The smartphone will be launched in a livestream. OPPO will host an AR launch event . It will begin at 12:30 PM IST. The event will be livestreamed on YouTube via the Oppo Mobile India channel. You can watch the event below:

According to the renders, the OPPO Reno4 Pro will sport a quad rear camera setup and a single selfie shooter. Further, unlike the 5G variant, it does not seem to feature a laser autofocus sensor. The global edition features a 3.5mm audio jack alongside a USB-C port, a microphone, and an external speaker on its bottom edge.

The phone is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC. It will sport a curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. The device could come with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to feature 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology.

OPPO launched the Reno4 5G series in China last month. Now, the company is all set to unveil the 4G variant of OPPO Reno4 Pro in India on July 31. However, ahead of the launch, renders of the device have leaked online.

According to the renders, the OPPO Reno4 Pro will sport a quad rear camera setup and a single selfie shooter. Further, unlike the 5G variant, it does not seem to feature a laser autofocus sensor. OPPO Reno4 Pro launching in India on July 31, OPPO Watch could tag along

OPPO has announced that it will be launching its next Reno smartphone – the Reno 4 Pro – in India on July 31. The company reveals that it will feature a 92.01% screen-to-body ratio with a 6.5-inch display. It is confirmed to sport a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

According to a report from Moneycontrol, the OPPO Reno4 Pro will come equipped with a quad rear camera setup of 48MP primary camera + an 8MP ultra-wide lens + a 2MP macro lens + a 2MP monochrome/depth sensor. On the front may lie a 32MP selfie shooter. To recall, the Chinese variant of the smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with 48MP + 12MP ultra-wide + 13MP telephoto sensor.

The report goes on to say that Reno4 Pro will go on sale starting August 5. It will come in two color options – Starry Night and Silky White.

Moreover, it is rumored that the company will be launching the OPPO Watch alongside the smartphone on July 31. It is expected to come in two variants – 41mm and 46mm – that are likely to be priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively.

OPPO Reno4 series confirmed to launch in India with localized features

The OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro went official in China yesterday and are already up for pre-order in the country. OPPO has now officially confirmed that the Reno4 duo will also make it to the Indian market with some localized features in tow, but hasn’t shared a launch timeline yet.

“Following OPPO’s “Glocal” strategy, the India version of the smartphone is expected to come with multiple localized features to cater to the changing needs of Indian consumers,” OPPO was quoted as saying in an official statement (via Gadgets360).

The OPPO Reno4 and its Pro sibling both offer 5G support, draw power from the Snapdragon 765G processor and come equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary snapper. Notably, both the phones bring support for the in-house 65W SuperVOOC Super Flash charge technology.

OPPO Reno4 Pro in Black and White colors leaked online

OPPO recently dropped an official teaser for the upcoming Reno4 series of phones and then confirmed that it will launch the devices on June 5. Now, renders of the Reno4 Pro have leaked online in Black and White color options.

Unlike the “Glow” models, these do not feature a watermark-like big branding on the rear. The OPPO Reno4 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz full HD+ AMOLED display. It will come with curved edges and a punch-hole at the upper-left corner.

It is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. On the optics front, the device will sport a triple rear camera setup: a 48MP lens with OIS + a 12MP ultrawide sensor + a 13MP telephoto len and a 32MP selfie shooter.

OPPO Reno4 series live images and key specifications appear online

Earlier this month, OPPO dropped an official teaser for the upcoming Reno4 series of phones. But prior to its grand unveiling, official renders of the upcoming OPPO phone, a marketing image as well as a hands-on image have surfaced online. The leaked images show the OPPO Reno4 in all its glory, which includes the not-so-subtle OPPO Reno branding splashed across the entire rear panel.

The three rear camera lenses and the module protrude significantly, which means aside from being an eyesore, it will also cause the phone to wobble when lying on a flat surface. Over at the front, we see a curved display with slim bezels and a hole punch drilled in the top left corner.

As per a Weibo post from a reliable tipster, both the phones will rely on the Snapdragon 765G SoC and will pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W charging. The OPPO Reno4 will pack a 6.4-inch FHD+ display, while the Reno4 Pro will pack a 6.5-inch panel with the same resolution but a higher 90Hz refresh rate.

The camera setup on the Oppo Reno4 will reportedly be 48MP+8MP+2MP, while that on its Pro variant will go 48MP+12MP+13MP. Lastly, the Reno4 is said to pack a single 32MP camera, while the Reno4 Pro might feature a 32MP camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Notably, the aforementioned specifications match with those listed on the Chinese regulatory body TENAA’s database as well.

OPPO Reno4 official video teaser confirms triple rear camera setup

Earlier this month, an alleged OPPO Reno4 live image has appeared online. It showcased the the back panel of the device, which looked completely different from its predecessors.

Now, the company has released the first teaser video of the Reno4 series to showcase its design. It reveals the gradient blue color option of the OPPO Reno4 / Reno4 Pro. Moreover, the rear panel has a large-sized “Reno Glow” text engraved on it.

The left edge consists of volume up and down buttons while the power button sits on the right edge. The bottom of the device consists of an external speaker, a USB-C slot, and a microphone.

As for the prominent camera module, it comes with a triple rear camera setup with laser autofocus system present adjacent to the third lens from top.
