Realme Buds Air Neo with 13mm drivers launched in India for Rs 2,999 (~$39)

Realme has announced the Buds Air Neo alongside the Realme Watch and Realme Smart TV in India today. It comes with 13mm drivers that promise dynamic bass.

Further, the device sports Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC audio codec for an enhanced audio experience. The company says it has 17 hours of battery life with the case and 3 hours standalone battery life.

Realme Buds Air Neo confirmed by the company, launches on May 25

Today, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to confirm that Realme is indeed planning to launch the Buds Air Neo.

The Realme Buds Air Neo will be launched in India on May 25 alongside the Realme Watch and TV.

It is expected to be the cheaper version of the realme Buds Air that was launched back in December. As per recent rumors, it will come with micro USB charging port for the 400mAh case.

The company says the device will offer 17 hours of total playback and 3 hours of standalone playback with a 25mAh battery on each headset, same as the Buds Air. However, it is expected to lack wireless charging feature.

Moreover, Realme has confirmed 13mm drivers for the device. It will also come with low-latency mode, and Bluetooth 5.0 support, touch controls for call control, track change, and more.

Realme Buds Air Neo with up to 17 hours of battery life could be launched soon

A new leak says that Realme is working on a pair of new truly wireless (TWS) earphones, called Realme Buds Air Neo. The device is likely to be an affordable version of the Realme Buds Air.

The Realme Buds Air Neo is said to share most of the design cues from the Buds Air. However, it will feature a micro-USB port at the bottom to keep the costs low.

The product is touted to deliver up to 17 hours of battery life on a single charge. Further, it is tipped to be powered by the R1 chip with Bluetooth 5.0 support.

It is also rumored that these earphones will use an optical sensor to determine the position of the ears and feature 13mm speakers.

The Buds Air Neo will also support Realme’s Game Mode that is claimed to reduce latency by 51 percent to improve the audio experience.

Notably, there will be no wireless charging on this Realme device.

The company is launching eight new products on May 25 and the Buds Air Neo could be one of them.
