Realme Narzo 20 Pro brings 65W fast charging to the mid-range segment

Realme has announced its Narzo 20 series today. Alongside the Narzo 20 and Narzo 20A comes the Realme Narzo 20 Pro. It is the first smartphone to bring 65W fast charging to the Narzo series. It packs a 4,500mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, and a quad rear camera setup. Here’s all you need to know about the device.

The Realme Narzo 20 Pro features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It comes with a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, paired with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage.

On the optics front, the Realme Narzo 20 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup of 48MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP black and white portrait. On the front lies a 16MP selfie shooter. Moreover, the smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. It weighs 191 grams and measures 162.3 x 75.4 x 9.4mm. It is being made available in Black Ninja and White Knight color options.

It could sport a triple rear camera setup of 12MP primary + 2MP retro + 2MP black and white lens. As for selfies, it may come equipped with an 8MP shooter. It is rumored to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. The phone may come in two color options – Glory Silver and Victory Blue.

On the other hand, the Realme Narzo 20 has already been leaked a couple of times. It is said to pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It could feature a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7 percent. The phone might be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. It could sport a triple rear camera setup of 48MPP + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro. It is rumored to be made available in Glory Silver and Victory Blue color options.

Realme confirmed the arrival of its Narzo 20 lineup at IFA 2020 trade show. Now, the company has sent out official invites for the launch. The Realme Narzo 20 series is coming to India on September 21. The virtual launch event will start at 12:30 PM IST. The company has confirmed that it will be announcing Realme Narzo 20A, Narzo 20, and Narzo 20 Pro at the event. To recall, the Narzo 10 had only two smartphones in the lineup – the Narzo 10A and Narzo 10.

The media invite package sent out by the company includes energy bars and a handheld gaming console that runs nostalgic games including Super Mario and Contra. Hence, the Narzo 20 series is expected to focus on gaming and battery life. At least one variant, likely the Narzo 20 Pro variant is also expected to support Dart charging technology since the invite package carries “Feel the Speed of Dart” text.

As for the launch poster, it shows two devices with rear-facing fingerprint sensors and the third smartphone with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Realme Narzo 20A is likely to be the phone with a square-shaped camera module with three cameras and an LED flash. Further, the Narzo 20 could sport a vertical triple camera setup while the Narzo 20 Pro could come equipped with a vertically aligned quad camera setup.

The Realme Narzo 20 series is just a week away. We expect the company to tease its features one by one leading up to the launch.
