Apple Watch website provides more details on its functionality

One of the biggest contradictions of the Apple Watch is that even though Apple announced it in September, that’s really the only thing that we received from Cupertino. Jony Ive did give us an extensive walkthrough over some of the features of the Apple Watch, but the video only left us with more questions than answers. Apple has silently updated the Apple Watch website and reveals a couple of the functions that the device will be able to do.Apple updated ...

Nexus 6 Stand Folio Case now available on Google Play

Google wouldn’t be the first company that sells its products before its accessories are available, but given the level of demand for the Nexus 6, it is the most notorious. The biggest problem about buying Android smartphones is that the selection is so vast; it can be a challenge to find good accessories for them on launch date. Still, just as

Huge Apple Watch sales would spell the end of smartwatches as we know them

You have to admit. It’d be a very “Apple” thing to do. It would be very “Apple” to let the seeds of a new industry start to take root and then swoop in and dominate the market. The Apple Watch may be better in some ways, and it might be worse in some ways, but it is almost certainly going to be insanely popular. Because it’s Apple, and that’s what Apple does.Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to stroke Apple’s ego. I’m just dictating its general trend for behavior. Apple has a reputation for letting others get their hands dirty in the refinement of a product, only to ...

Is the Nexus 10 still the best large format Nexus tablet?

Yes, you read the headline correctly! Although the Nexus 9 is the Google-branded tablet that was recently announced and is currently available in the Play Store, it’s got us scratching our heads. Android 5.0 Lollipop is great, no question, and having the (arguably) first 64-bit Android-powered device certainly sets your status well above those of us mere mortals that are stuck in the archaic days of 32-bit processors (queue the Apple fanboys touting the fact that “their” platform has had 64-bit for a “long long time”).

Google breakup resolution passed by European Parliament

There were strong indications earlier this week that the European Parliament would prefer a situation in which Google’s search would be chopped off from other divisions of the company. Today, the EU’s legislative has passed a resolution concerning the matter, with 384 legislators in favor, 174 against and 56 abstentions.According to the resolution, “the online search market is of particular importance in ensuring competitive conditions within the digital single market”, and calls on the European Commission “to prevent any abuse in the marketing of interlinked services ...

LG shuffles executives, new head of mobile appointed

LG not only managed to have a great third quarter this year, but 2014 in its entirety smiled upon the South Korean manufacturer’s mobile division. Surface Pro 3 competitor by LG in the making

The Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft is one heck of a tablet computer and it managed to score pretty high in our full review back in summer. As it turns out, other manufacturers have acknowledged both the success of the slate and the need for such hardware, as an LG Surface Pro 3 competitor is in the works, according to a recent report.Much like the Surface Pro 3, LG’s take on the concept will be a laptop ...

Three new Windows Phones in the works claim reports

OnePlus opens brick and mortar store in Beijing

The OnePlus One is one of the most highly acclaimed smartphones of the year, not just because of its specs, but because you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to get one. Its only problem doesn’t have anything to do with the hardware really, but mainly to do with its parent company as it continues to struggle in getting phones to its customers
