The Honor 7S has just been announced for the UK and it’s a true entry-level phone when it comes to price, as it’s just £99. That's even cheaper than the Honor 7A.
The handset, which landed in Pakistan last month, packs in a surprising number of features for such a low price.
Highlights including a 5.45-inch 720 x 1440 screen with a trendy 18:9 resolution, combined with bezels that are apparently ‘barely-there’, though they’re certainly bigger than on most pricier phones.
The Honor 7S also sports an LED flash on both its 13MP rear camera and its 5MP front-facing one, with the latter flash doubling as a ‘Selfie Light.’
And there’s a ‘Loud Voice Call’ feature, which uses a powerful receiver to ensure calls are loud and clear, even in noisy environments.
The phone has a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, so those parts of the specs are a bit more basic, but you do also get a microSD card slot and support for two SIM cards.
The battery is 3,020mAh and includes smart battery management to keep it going for longer, though when it does come time to plug in you’ll be doing so with micro USB rather than USB-C.
If you like the sound of the Honor 7S you’ll be able to pick it up from today in Argos, from Three, or direct from Honor’s store, and it’s available in blue, black or gold.

While Instagram dives deeper down the rabbit hole of longform video, it seems like Snapchat is going to take a slightly different route by dabbling in video games.
According to new sources from inside the company, Snapchat is developing a full-on gaming platform which it plans to unveil later this year. The sources claim that at least one prominent publisher has already been brought on board and they’re bringing a game with them.
Unlike the company’s previous experiment with game-like features, sources tell The Information that these games will be downloadable tiles from inside an app store on Snapchat. This likely has something to do with Snapchat’s acquisition of PlayCanvas last month and, according to those sources, plans are likely to materialize by September or October of this year.
While the idea sounds far-fetched, Snap has introduced developer kits and began distributing them to developers around two weeks ago - and don’t forget about Snappables, the Snapchat Spectacles-based games already available in the app.
This next set of games will be different from everything Snapchat has tried in the past and more like the Facebook games that grew the company's business back in 2009 and 2010. The hope is that games will appeal to Snapchat's younger audience and, if micro-transactions are involved, add a new revenue stream.
Does that mean your next match of Overwatch will be played in Snapchat? Probably not. But who knows, Farmville 3 might be.

Samsung has officially sent out invites for the launch of their next flagship smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch date is August 9, with the official unveiling taking place in New York city.
While the invite itself doesn't name check the Galaxy Note 9, and the image appears to revolve around a button rather than a huge screen or S Pen stylus, we're confident that it will be the phablet that graces the stage.
TechRadar will be reporting live from the event in New York to bring you all the latest from Samsung's next phablet flagship.
While no features have been confirmed for the Note 9, there are plenty of rumors circulating about the handset, with one of the most recent touting an updated S Pen.
While the general public won't be able to attend, you will be able to watch the launch from home, as Samsung has confirmed that it will be live streamed.
The event is due to kick off at 9am EDT (6am PDT, 2pm BST) on August 9.
August 9 is the officially official announcement date of Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy Note 9, which may bring an improved S Pen to the table.
