Apple has announced a new ‘One more thing’ event for November 10

Well, rumors were almost right, as Apple has announced that it will be holding a new event on November 10 at 10 am PT, and let’s be honest; we were all expecting Apple to announce another event before the year came to an end, and it has done so today. The upcoming event was rumored to take place on November 17, but it seems that we won’t have to wait that long for it to come around.

The new event is expected to focus on Apple’s transition to Apple Silicone Mac devices, as it already held two previous events, focusing on the presentation of the Apple Watch Series 6, the latest iPhone 12 lineup, and other interesting devices. Now, rumors claim that we may get up to three new MacBooks with Apple Silicon in the next event.

To be more specific, Bloomberg reports that we may get a new 13-inch MacBook Air, a 13-inch MacBook Pro, and a 16-inch MacBook Pro, and Apple Silicone would power all of them. However, don’t expect huge changes between Cupertino’s current models and the ones with Apple Silicon, as we may not see dramatic changes, other than the chip upgrades, which would also give Apple users improvements in performance and battery life.

We could say that we can confirm some of this information thanks to the well-known leaker L0vetodream, as he seems to agree with the report mentioned above. He posted information that seems to align with what we mentioned before, writing “13 inch X 2,” which could represent the 13-inch MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. Let’s not forget other rumors suggesting that Cupertino would be shipping new MacBooks with Apple Silicon in Q4 2020.

Unfortunately, rumors also say that we will not get the new AirPods Studio or the AirTags until next year, but we will only find out for sure until the day of the event.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 could be getting closer to launch

2020 has brought a ton of changes upon us, and the way we use to do things. It has also made some companies change how they present their devices and services, and it seems that Qualcomm has also decided to change its Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit.

Qualcomm has recently announced the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2020 event that will take place on Tuesday, December 1. Further details weren’t provided, but we know that this event is used to launch the company’s flagship processors. The annual event that usually takes place in Hawaii, but let’s remember, we are in 2020, and things aren’t the same as other years, meaning that this new event will go digital.

The invites sent out earlier today don’t mention the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor. Still, we are more than confident that the device will be in the spotlight during this event, especially after Qualcomm mentions “premium-tier mobile performance” in the email connected with the invite.

This new Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor is expected to debut powering next year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 or Galaxy S30, as there’s no official name for Samsung’s next Galaxy flagship. The processor will most likely be “the fastest, most powerful, and most energy-efficient 5G chipset from the company.” Although, previous rumors claim that it may not be as powerful as the Exynos 1000 chipset.

It is also rumored that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 will have several “lite” versions that will help the market deal with the issue caused by smartphones’ rising cost. However, these are just rumors, and we will have to wait a couple of months before Qualcomm can deny or confirm this information. Until then, we will keep you posted in case any new information surfaces may help us get a better idea of what we can expect from Qualcomm’s new flagship processor.

The new Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will be presented on August 11

Xiaomi will soon celebrate its 10th-anniversary event. The company has just posted on Twitter an invitation for media friends and Mi Fans, to mark their calendars for the announcement of its new Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra on August 11.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will be launched next week, in a virtual event. One of Xiaomi’s PR executives, Agatha Tang, has posted an invitation to this event on Twitter, which makes it more than official. The “Ultra” moniker has arrived as an upgrade to replace the “T” and “Pro,” so we can’t be sure as to what it is that we will get with this new device.

This moment will have more than one reason to celebrate, as Xiaomi has also surpassed Huawei in the European market during Q2 2020. In other words, Xiaomi is now placed on the third spot of smartphone sales. Samsung kept the first spot, but it saw a 31 percent year-on-year sales decline, while Apple and Xiaomi were the only ones to grow compared to previous years. Apple can thank the iPhone 11 and the latest iPhone SE for that, while Xiaomi’s strength lies in the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 9 series.
