Speaking at an Ericsson event at MWC 2017, T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray said that the carrier will have to work on converting every last call onto VoLTE.

LTE is the best thing since sliced bread. I doubt you’ll find anyone to argue that point. Latency on an LTE network is generally low, while speeds on an LTE network are typically fast.
