Late last spring, on the first day of WWDC 2013, Apple introduced the world to iOS 7. In the months that followed, we saw the platform get its public release, and eventually Apple delivered a number of software updates, bringing us up to the 7.1.1 we find ourselves with today. More recently, though, our attentions have been focused less on the next 7.x update, and looking out to the future, as rumors and leaks attempted to detail what we might expect from iOS 8.
