The latest development comes from a post on Weibo where Xiaomi announced that it will be launching the Mi 11 Ultra nad Mi 11 Pro on March 29 in China. The event is scheduled for 7:30 PM CST, which is 7:30 AM ET / 5 PM IST. The online event will be livestreamed on Xiaomi’s media channels, including Facebook and YouTube.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could come with Quad HD+ resolution. It was recently certified on TENAA. It is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup of 50-megapixel + 48-megapixel (superwide) + 48-megapixel (telephoto periscope) with 120x zoom support. You might get a 20MP selfie shooter.

The smartphone is likely to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC. It could be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, 67W wireless charging as 10W reverse wireless charging. Further, it could come with a secondary screen on its camera bump, which is likely to double as a viewfinder for clicking selfies using the powerful rear cameras.

As for the Mi 11 Pro, it is said to support 120x zoom with a periscope lens on the back. Other specifications are likely to remain the same as Mi 11. We should get more information in the form of teasers as we head towards the launch.

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagships might one-up OnePlus 9 with 67W fast charging

A few weeks ago, an upcoming Xiaomi flagship, allegedly the Mi 11 Ultra, was spotted in a hands-on YouTube video. The phone was spotted rocking a huge rear camera bump that also had a tiny secondary display. Ever since, the phone has popped up in multiple leaks and rumors, dropping tiny bits of details about its internals. Now, the phone has reportedly been spotted on the certification database of China’s 3C – revealing support for an impressive 67W charging.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra already offers support for an insane 120W fast charging

The database mentions two phones carrying the model numbeM2102K1C and M2102K1AC, allegedly representing the Mi 11 Pro and the Mi 111 Ultra. The charger carrying the model number MDY-12-ES has a power rating of 11V at 6.1A, which roughly translates to 67W of wattage. If the certification indeed is about the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro, then we might see Xiaomi getting an upper hand over OnePlus, whose upcoming OnePlus 9 series phones will offer support for 65W fast charging.

However, the Mi 11 Ultra and the Mi 11 Pro still won’t be the fastest charging phones for Xiaomi. That honor goes to the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, which offers support for 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging too. Additionally, the gaming-centric Red Magic 6 also brought support for 120W fast charging to the table.

Coming back to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, it starkly deviates from the design of Mi 11 (Review) that was launched earlier this year. The key differentiating factor is the huge camera bump at the back that not only hosts three camera lenses, but also a secondary display that runs the full Android experience, or at least that’s what the leaked video indicates.

Now, coming to the camera hardware, it is equally impressive. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will come armed with a 50MP main snapper, sitting alongside a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP periscope-style telephoto camera that offers a mind-bending 120X digital zoom range – a number that surpasses what the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra can achieve. Inside, you’ll find Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with plenty of RAM and storage.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra leak shows a colossal camera bump with a tiny cover display

Xiaomi took its Snapdragon 888-powered Mi 11 flagship global a few days ago. And as per leaks, more members in the Mi 11 family are in the pipeline, with one of them being an overpowered top-of-the-line Android machine called Mi 11 Ultra. But before Xiaomi could give it a star-studded launch and sing hymns in its glory on stage, the phone has been leaked in all its glory via a YouTube video.

Triple rear cameras with 120X digital zoom range, quad curved 120Hz display and 67W wireless charging support

First spotted by the folks over at XDA-Developers, the leaked hands-on video courtesy of a channel named Tech Buff PH has now been pulled, but not before a mirror was generated. Now, let’s talk about the phone itself. The design is your usual glass-and-metal affair with a curved display on the front flaunting a single hole-punch drilled in the top left corner. But things get really interesting at the back of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

The phone, which is depicted in both black and white trims, is seen rocking a colossal camera bump. The actual camera lenses appear to occupy just over half the area, while the rest is left for a tiny secondary display. But unlike the cover display on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip, the one fitted on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is shown running the full MIUI experience, which is wild.

Of course, the primary use-case scenario here is for the secondary display to double as a viewfinder for clicking selfies using the powerful rear cameras. Now that we’re talking cameras, the leaked video mentions a 50MP primary camera, sitting alongside a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP periscope-style telephoto camera with a massive 120X digital zoom range. Selfie and video calling responsibilities will be shouldered by a 20MP snapper.

As for the rest of the specs, the Mi 11 Ultra is claimed to offer a 6.8-inch WQHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus on top. The build is said to be IP68-rated, and a 5,000mAh battery provides the juice. Notably, the upcoming Xiaomi phone is touted to support 67W wired as well as 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging to juice up other accessories such as earbuds. You can watch the full mirror video below:
