NVIDIA opens pre-orders for Shield Tablet LTE edition

A couple months back, NVIDIA introduced mobile gamers to its latest hardware: instead of a new Shield handheld (now the Shield Portable), we saw the company introduce its Tegra-K1-powered Shield Tablet. With an eight-inch full HD display, support for the company’s Shield wireless controller, and a very affordable $300 starting price tag, it was sounding pretty good – but for as tempting as that 16GB WiFi-only $300 model was, the 32GB version teased LTE support for just $100 more.
