What’s Nokia up to with this new green makeover?

Just about an hour ago, Nokia changed its logo and the background on its Facebook page from the company’s iconic blue to a shade of green. Jumping over to Twitter, and even Google+, we see the same change taking place. What could be the meaning behind this move? If it was about some sort of general environmental consciousness, wouldn’t this be happening in April, closer to Earth Day?
