Even though the Galaxy Camera wasn’t able to prove much, the Nokia Lumia 1020 did. It wasn’t that the Galaxy Camera didn’t have a market; it was simply the fact that it wasn’t a better camera than most of the smartphones of its time once you compared the resulting photographs. Samsung obviously took notice, and we saw them take a stab at a better job with the Galaxy S4 Zoom, which we’d gladly call a “Galaxy S4 mini Zoom” instead, since it resembles the Galaxy S4 mini a lot more than its more-powerful sibling.
