T-Mobile extends Magenta Friday Weekend deals through Tuesday, but the best is yet to come

‘Member when Black Friday was actually a one-off thing, signaling the collective beginning of the US Christmas shopping season at virtually all respected nationwide retailers? Those were arguably simpler but also far more barbaric times, with people physically wrestling each other for the last TV on sale after hours on end wasted in inhumanly long lines outside brick and mortar stores.

Some habits of course die hard, so the Black Friday stampede phenomenon will not entirely go away this year either, but with the rise of e-commerce and substantial expansion of the holiday shopping timeframe, most civilized people can now buy their discounted gear early from home. Or at least one of the two.

Case in point, T-Mobile hasn’t just declared Magenta (Friday) the new Black (Friday), also keeping its first batch of pre-Christmas deals on until midnight pacific time tomorrow, Tuesday, November 22.

Both new and existing T-Mo customers can still get two of four service lines free of charge on ONE or Simple Choice plans, whether we’re talking smartphone, tablet or wearable lines. SyncUP DRIVE is gratis after 24 monthly bill credits with a 2GB or higher mobile Internet plan as well, and the Alcatel Pop 7 LTE slate will merely set you back sales tax on ONE or Simple Choice Unlimited after bill credits.

There are a number of other freebies and markdowns available early through the “UnCarrier”, but don’t forget about what’s coming on Thursday. Three words – Galaxy S7 free.
