Apple has never been famous for making battery life a priority on its iPhone line-up. Almost every publication praises Apple for how well the iPad line-up and even its Mac line-up performs in that department, but sadly we can’t all say the same about the iPhone. iOS 7 proved to be tough on the iPhone’s battery, and even though some of this was fixed with iOS 7.1, it seems Apple did some additional optimizations.
