The Surface Mini was pushed back because it wasn’t unique enough to compete?

Even though we were all expecting yesterday to be the Microsoft Surface Mini event, and where we also expected a Surface Pro 3 to be launched, it turned out to be a Surface Pro 3 event, and the Mini was no where to be found. We can’t say we’re disappointed with yesterday’s event, as the Surface Pro 3 has done a great job in giving us some wow for the platform, but we can’t deny that we weren’t waiting for Microsoft’s unique stab at what a smaller tablet should be, and actually that’s the reason why no mini product was launched.
