Moto RAZR 5G could arrive with a 2,633mAh battery and fast charging

We get new rumors concerning the new Moto RAZR 5G or the RAZR 2020. This new device is getting the required certifications before a possible launch, and these reveal some interesting new details about the phone’s battery size and charging capabilities.

According to a TUV Rheinland certification, the new Moto RAZR 5G will include a 2,633mAh battery with 18W fast charging. This device is believed to come with two batteries under the hood, so when you and the first one, LS30, with 1,180mAh with the LS40 with 1,453mAh, you get more battery than the one in the original RAZR, which also included fast charging, but it topped off at 15W.

The new Moto RAZR 5G is expected to launch on September 9, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage space, and a larger display. The device is also said to include a new 48MP Samsung Quad-Bayer primary camera and a 20MP selfie camera.

New leaked images of the alleged Moto RAZR 5G look hot

Let’s go back to clamshell foldables, Evan Blass just posted a new leak of the upcoming RAZR. We’re expecting this phone to launch some time in September as Motorola mentioned in a podcast and, according to Evan this phone will be called the Moto RAZR 5G / Odyssey. On the picture we get to see the phone laying down on a table showing a much larger outer display which displays someone doing a video call. The design doesn’t look like it changed all that much but it does look more like the original RAZRs from back in the day. Previous leaks from Evan hinted that we will be getting better specs like the Snapdragon 765G, 8GB of RAM, dual cameras with a 48MP primary sensor and a secondary 20MP shooter. We’re about a month away from September so, we should be hearing some more soon.

Google’s Pixel 4a might finally launch on August 3

Speaking of releases, Mr. Jon Prosser is back, at least on Twitter and he has a new update for the Google Pixel 4a. A couple of weeks ago, he tweeted out that we’d be getting this phone on August 3rd and today he tweeted out that it will 100% be happening on that date. Everything is supposed to be ready as, the phone was allegedly ready months ago but Google just pushed the dates back, we assume it was because of the pandemic because that’s the only logical explanation for these many delays. We’re still expecting this phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 730, pack a 3140 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Bring a single camera at the back as well as a 5.8in punch hole display and a price tag between the $300-400 mark. We’re only a week away from this launch date so, we hope to hear back soon.

Next to that we get the Z Fold 2 and the Note 20. Moving on we have a new hands of the Galaxy Watch 3 which popped up on YouTube. Finally and more importantly, we have some alleged price tags of the Galaxy Note 20 and boy, these don’t sound good at all. According to the tipster, the LTE variant of the Note 20 will cost €999, while the 5G variant will start at €1099 while the Note 20 Ultra starts at €1349. Apparently the variants will start at 256GB of storage and he also added that the Buds will cost €149 but, he did mention that pricing may change due to VAT.

Story of the day:

The 5.4-inch display of the iPhone 12 could’ve appeared on Weibo

iPhone 12, Apple Glass and Apple Silicon launch date leaked?

We have two separate leaks for Apple today but, they actually overlap. Let’s start off with some images of display panels that allegedly belong to the 5.4in iPhone 12 and were posted to Weibo. We can’t really see much from these images other than the fact that the notch does look somewhat smaller than the ones we currently have. Now, for the second leak, we have a now deleted tweet from a tipster with some dates for the upcoming Apple Events. According to him, there’s going to be an online event on September 8th where we’ll be getting the new iPhones, the Apple Watch, a new iPad and, wait for it, AirPower. Then he mentioned a second event on October 27th but, he didn’t mention if it was going to happen online. At this event we should be getting a new iPad Pro, two new Apple Silicon Macs which are a 13in MacBook Pro and a MacBook, he also added that if this is an online event, we could be getting Apple Glass. Of course, these are all rumors and you should take them with a grain of salt but, it provides somewhat of a timeline as there’s a lot of conflicting rumors going on.

New leaked images of the alleged Moto RAZR 5G look hot

It's only fair to share...Share on RedditShare on FacebookShare on Google+Tweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Tumblr

It seems that we have the first leaked images of what could be the new Moto RAZR 5G. These images come from a well-known leaker, so it might just be the real design of the device. Now, what’s even better is that this device is supposed to launch in 2020.

Evan Blass has recently posted some images of what could be the new Moto RAZR 5G on his Patreon. The new “Odyssey” clamshell foldable comes with some interesting changes while retaining some key elements. Maybe the most important differences are found in the phone’s smaller chin and the fact that we cant see a fingerprint reader, which could mean that we may get face detection on the Moto RAZR 5G or that Motorola decided to change the fingerprint reader’s location.

This new Moto RAZR is supposed to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 2,845mAh battery, 48MP main shooter, a 20MP selfie camera and 5G support. Evan Blass described this device as the “Motorola RAZR 2020,” suggesting that it may launch this year, even though the current COVID-19 pandemic may push the device’s presentation until early 2021.
