Pitting smartphones against the Galaxy Note 3 usually goes something like this: “well, x phone is nice, but it doesn’t have the utility, multitasking, S Pen, or horsepower of the Note 3. So there.” Thanks to its substantial feature load, Samsung’s juggernaut has remained the essential master of the phablet space ever since its launch, leaving many would-be competitors in the dust when they show up with a big screen and not much else. When LG announced the G Flex on October 28, the self-healing and bendable phone became available on its home market, in South Korea, with no information regarding international/global plans. The LG G Flex is not only self-healing, to a certain degree, as we’ve demonstrated in our G Flex torture test, but it also has another neat trick up its sleeve, which basically gives the phone its name: it bends.
