Apple clearly has a new iPad and iPad mini waiting in the wings. It’s coming up on a year since the last iterations of those tablets were launched, and all summer we’ve been fielding leak after leak of this new hardware. All that’s remained is for Apple to finally pull back the curtain and make this pair official. We’ve been expecting that to happen this fall – and maybe even this month, in particular – but a hard date has been difficult to come by.

All the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C fire didn’t even burn out completely and we’re seeing, yet again, rumors and leaks regarding Apple’s upcoming tablets: the next full-sized iPad (iPad 5), and the iPad mini refresh (iPad mini 2?).
