Samsung has Black Friday deals on phones, smartwatches and tablets coming soon

A few gadgets are already on special sale at Samsung's official US e-store, with many other Black Friday deals coming November 19 and 23.

New round of early Best Buy Black Friday deals includes $50 Moto G4 Play and dirt-cheap Samsung tabs

While Black Friday is still technically 36 hours or so away at the time of this writing, and the vast majority of Best Buy’s doorbusters dedicated to the occasion have been slated for a Thanksgiving Day inauguration, it’d be a shame not to check out some of the retailer’s already available holiday steals.

After offering the US unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 for an all-time low price of $550, free fast charge wireless pad included, and a $600 128GB Surface Pro 4 keyboard bundle a couple of weeks back, then throwing in $300 gift cards with LG G5 purchases, BB today discreetly knocks the Moto G4 Play off to $49.99.

There’s obviously one big catch, namely an obligation to activate the 5-inch phone on a prepaid Verizon plan, but still, you’re looking at LTE connectivity, near-stock Android Marshmallow with Nougat decidedly on the way, 16GB expandable storage, 2GB RAM, and decent 2,800 mAh battery capacity.

Normally, the Big Red prepaid G4 Play costs $85, although we’ve seen it discounted to $65 not long ago. Never to $50, of course.

At the same time, you can procure a wide range of Samsung tablets at marked-down prices, including a $70 Galaxy Tab E Lite, $90 Tab A (2016) 7.0, $200 Tab A 10.1, and $400 Galaxy View, the latter of which used to cost a whopping $550. Oh, and if you happen to pass by a Best Buy physical store, do inquire about this Galaxy S7 trade-in program promising $450 in gift cards for any “working smartphone” replaced with a brand-new Samsung flagship on a Verizon, AT&T or Sprint monthly installment plan.

Samsung unveils wide but underwhelming range of upcoming Black Friday deals

If Samsung perhaps didn’t need Black Friday blowouts in past years to get people excited about the company’s super-successful flagship phones for the holidays, we kinda sorta assumed 2016 would be different.

But it looks like all those Note 7-redeeming discounts on the S7 and S7 Edge got the chaebol prematurely out of the celebratory mood, at least stateside. There’s still a bunch of deals in the pipeline, some rolling out as early as November 18, others on the 20th, and a couple saved for a 28th Cyber Monday start.

Unfortunately, we don’t see anything about additional GS7 cuts previewed on Samsung’s US website. Just certified pre-owned S6 and S6 Edge units slated to cost $400 and $450 respectively before long, a fairly disappointing $70 Gear VR (2015) promo, $150 Gear Fit 2 wearable, $230 Gear S2, $250 S2 Classic, and $300 Gear S3 smartwatches.

The very recently released Gear S3 is the only one we’d wholeheartedly recommend you purchase next week at a $50 markdown in Classic or Frontier derivations, while the tablet selection on sale will include a $400 Galaxy View, $250 Tab A 10.1 with S Pen, $200 standard Tab A 10.1, $150 Tab E 9.6, and $100 Tab A 7.0. Good thing third-party retailers are always in a giving mood this time of year.

This July Fourth, Sprint throws in free Galaxy Tab E with high-end Samsung phone purchase

The Now Network reckons the only thing better than a new device is two new devices, taking a page from T-Mobile’s old playbook with a “Tablet on Us” type of deal for a limited time. The main difference is Sprint’s free slate looks slightly less crappy, at least on paper. On the not so bright side, you need to sign up to a 24-month contract to qualify for your 9.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab E gift, as well as buy a Note 5, GS6, S6 Edge, S7 or S7 Edge with installment plans, ...

Mid-rangers matter: Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 scores Marshmallow on Verizon

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 lands on AT&T, Tab 4 Advanced coming soon internationally

In the grand scheme of the tech industry, conventional Android-running tablets have stopped being relevant a while ago. But Samsung isn’t ready to throw in the towel just yet, as it continues to diversify its jumbo-sized gadget portfolio instead of streamlining or rescinding it altogether.Unfortunately, the Galaxy View merely made headlines with its weirdness of late, while the Tab E, ...

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.0 (2016) most likely benchmarked with Full HD screen

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) and Tab E 7-inch each rendered in black and white

Is there still a market for super-low-cost compact Android tablets? Samsung sure seems to think so, as it puts the finishing touches to a pair of average-looking 7-inchers.Confusingly and convolutedly dubbed Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) and Galaxy Tab E 7.0, these are basically tipped to be one and the same on the inside, the former going out to a European audience and the latter heading to the US before long. But strictly from an aesthetical standpoint, they’re slightly different, based on @evleaked press-quality renders. ...

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 7.0, Tab E Lite, Tab E Kids, and new Kids Mode all coming soon

It’s pretty hard to get excited about something else Samsung may have planned for the next couple of months besides the Galaxy S7 duo, trio or quartet, especially if that something is yet another low-end Android tablet. Or two, or three, joined by a refreshed user interface for children.Still, the Galaxy Tab E family must have ...
