Probably the best ever LG G5 deal bundles the phone with $300 worth of accessories for $450

Forget $400, or even $400 with a $25 gift card, spare battery, charging cradle, and CAM Plus “LG Friend” thrown in. If you have $450 to spend, and didn’t pull the trigger on one of the world’s first modular smartphones during the extended Black Friday and Cyber Monday jamboree, the coolest, cheapest LG G5 bundle is now up for grabs over at B&H Photo Video.

The camera-specialized US retailer not only sells the controversial but impressive 5.3-inch Android powerhouse alongside a backup battery, charging cradle and CAM Plus module, also handing out free LG 360 VR headsets with orders placed in the next few hours. A couple of days, at best.

How much do you stand to save all in all? Well, let’s see. That “standard” G5 2800mAh battery you can pop right in for an extra 24 hours or so of autonomy normally costs $37.99. Then there’s the $39.99-worth “dual-function” charging cradle, $49.99 camera grip add-on, and last but certainly not least, $169.99 Gear VR and Daydream View contender with 6-axis motion tracking and 639 ppi dual display.

That brings the grand total of savings to nearly 300 bucks (more specifically $297.96), not to mention the unlocked LG G5 alone is a decent bargain at $449.99. 4G LTE connectivity, GSM and CDMA support, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 820 power, 4GB RAM, and your choice of silver or titan paint jobs included.

Cyber Monday sales beat Black Friday’s, but only just

$50 million is apparently what separates how much consumers spent during Cyber Monday and Black Friday.

Adobe has released metrics for Cyber Monday sales online as well as platform traffic. The numbers come out of 80 percent of transactions from the top 100 US retailers and 75 percent of transactions from the top 500. on the web and, just like with Black Friday, we’re looking at record numbers this year.

The firm is estimating $3.39 billion worth of sales, a year-over-year growth of 10.2 percent and only beating internal estimates and Friday’s sales by just a little bit. By platform, smartphones made up 44 percent of pageviews, but only 25 percent of sales. Tablets took 9 percent of traffic and 10 percent of purchases. Desktops made up the rest of that share. It’s likely that mall strollers weren’t on their phones yesterday. Instead, we think office dwellers were taking “extended lunch breaks”.

Average cart checkouts on iPhones were around $139 while Android phone users bought $124 per order.

Visit-to-purchase conversions improved on an annual basis on all levels, though they are still at lower levels than Black Friday conversions. Smartphone conversions were marked at 1.9 percent while tablets switched over 3.7 percent of visits and 4.3 percent of desktops as well.

Of our technology interest, iPads and Amazon Fire-branded products were the fourth and fifth best performers.

Overall, November has brought in just under $40 billion of online sales to the top businesses in the US with 31 percent of sales coming from mobile devices.

Amazon’s latest batch of Cyber Monday deals includes cool savings on Moto Z, Garmin and Fitbit wearables

After previewing 35 full days of mad Black Friday shopping, Amazon kicked off the “Turkey 5” deal bonanza with a sweet discount on a high-end VR bundle, quickly spreading the love to smartphone and wearable enthusiasts, then offering a sneak peek at “more than 75,000” marked-down products during the week of Cyber Monday.

Confused much? It’s probably best to live in the moment, and don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on an Amazon.com bargain whenever you can get it, not thinking about what might or might not be around the corner.

Especially today, when an unlocked modular Moto Z phone, complete with 64GB internal storage and a US warranty, costs $499.99 instead of $699.99. Outside of Verizon-locked and select Moto Mod bundle promotions, this is most definitely the 5.5-incher’s lowest price yet, unlikely to go any lower in the near future.

The same pretty much goes for a number of intelligent Garmin and Fitbit wearable devices, including the $45 Vivofit 2 ($25 off), $160 Forerunner 225 (30 percent or so off), $60 Flex 2, $77 Charge HR, $85 Alta, and $128 Blaze. Then there’s the 16GB Moto G4 Plus (non-Prime-exclusive), available for $200 after a limited-time $50 trim, $179 Asus ZenFone 3 Laser (20 bucks off), and of course, a bunch of lightning deals coming “as often as every five minutes” all week long.

Best Buy’s new and old Cyber Monday deals are for everyone

As always, Best Buy was one of the most generous US retailers on Thanksgiving and during the “Black Friday weekend”, not to mention many of its super-compelling holiday deals were available early in limited quantities.

And many still are for Cyber Monday, with several more inaugurated today and up for grabs just in the next few hours. Looking for a couple of solid bets at a quick glance? That’s where we come in, to tell you the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is $100 off list across the board, starting at $700 instead of $800 in a Wi-Fi-only 32GB configuration.

Don’t have that much to spend? Maybe a $170 64GB Apple TV will tickle your fancy, seeing as how it’s discounted by a rare $30 off its regular price. Ultra-affordable Android smartphone enthusiasts can perhaps pick up a Verizon prepaid Moto G4 Play at an all-time low $35, or if they’d rather go the unlocked route, a $100 Asus ZenFone 3 Max or $230 64GB Moto G4 Plus.

Meanwhile, the unlocked Sony Xperia XA and ZTE Axon 7 are not just $50 off, also hooking you up with free $50 and $30 gift cards respectively. Stylish wearable fans can save up to 60 percent on “select” Fossil Q Grant models, and last but not least, modular Moto Z phones purchased on Verizon monthly installment plans come with gratis speaker and battery charger add-ons, as well as $100 savings. Let’s just hope there’s still something in the bank after Black Friday… week.

T-Mobile keeps the craziness going with free iPhone 7 memory upgrade for Cyber Monday

It may not sound as “holicray-cray” as a free iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy S7 or LG V20 at first, but T-Mobile’s latest holiday deal also comes with far fewer strings attached. No more trade-ins needed, BOGO schemes or intricate fine print to take into account here.

Just head over to T-Mobile.com or call 1-877-413-5903 today only, and instantly save a cool hundred bucks on 128 or 256GB iPhone 7 configurations. In other words, that top-of-the-line 4.7-inch model, with a whopping 256 gigs of digital hoarding room, can be yours at the 128GB variant’s normal price of $750 after a $99 down payment and $27.09 monthly installments.

Meanwhile, both the entry-level 32 and “mid-range” 128GB SKUs set you back $650 all in all for the next few hours, making the choice between them an absolute no-brainer. Unfortunately, the iPhone 7 Plus offers no free memory upgrade or any other Cyber Monday promo, with the 6s and SE at least sold at a $100 discount in all available configs.

The 4.7-inch iPhone 6s therefore costs $450 instead of $550 with 32GB internal storage, and $550 (down from $650) in a 128 gig SKU, whereas the 4-inch iPhone SE goes for $300 and $350 in 16 and 64GB versions respectively. So, yeah, you’re no longer looking at anything as sweet as back Friday, but these markdowns still deserve a bit of bargain-hunting attention.

Black Friday? Time for Amazon’s Cyber Monday deals!

We were questioning how long Black Friday really was going to be today and yesterday and the past week and for all of eternity. Amazon was and is one of the culprits perpetrating the perpetuation of a dark day in American commerce. But past the weekend, it will keep its website tendencies to where it belongs: on Cyber Monday… week.

The e-marketplace is announcing more than 75,000 deals over the next seven days. A lot of the deals on Amazon devices remain as they were since a week ago — that includes 99 cent Dash Buttons with $4.99 credit for whatever product you’re getting, at least 20 percent off Alexa devices and Fire tablets starting at $33.33. And don’t forget, if you have an Alexa device, ask around for some elusive, exclusive deals.

Of our interest are only a couple of deals such as the Sonos PLAY:1 Compact Wireless Smart Speaker for $149 (though it’s already $50 off direct from Sonos), up to 30 percent off some HP laptops and a Nest Cam for $163.98, even though it’s $149 today.

You know what, the more we look into these deals, the more we find ourselves a little bummed — it’s more Black Friday. But keep watch on specific Deals of the Day — that’s where the real, unannounced magic happens.
