Team HTC members get early access to Black Friday deals on 10, One M9, A9, and more

Ready to pull the trigger on a decent, relatively affordable, somewhat underrated Android phone before the Black Friday bargain-hunting crowds gather, making your holiday shopping experience feel like a major nuisance?

Simply sign up for a free Team HTC membership stateside by hitting the source link below, and from today, November 8, through Monday, the 14th, you’ll be able to score solid discounts on the HTC 10, One M9 and A9 handhelds, as well as the Re Camera, UA Band, and a wide range of mobile accessories.

You’re not exactly looking at earth-shattering deals, but the HTC 10 flagship 5.2-incher, for instance, is further marked down from $550 to $500 after recently dropping from a $700 MSRP. Then you have last year’s hero model, the One M9, again available at $300 instead of $500 outside of raffle promos and giveaways, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 20MP rear camera and all.

If you don’t need another hero… or a very original-looking device, the upper mid-range HTC One A9 iPhone copycat will set you back $275 for a limited time after a $155 instant rebate. The $75 Re action camera or $79 UA Band wearable can be thoughtful Christmas gifts for your outdoors-loving friends, with $10 M8 and M9 cases having your back when push comes to shove.

HTC One A9 discounted to $389 as spring cleaning intersects with Hot Deals

HTC is quite stingy when it comes to first-party sales. It’s been the case for both the One M9 and the One A9 and even the One M8 as all of those phones have retained their original full retail prices for the longest time. It’s only when these Hot Deals come along that things start making sense. And hey, it’s “spring cleaning” time, so there’d better be some inventory to clear out.The One M9,

HTC Re Camera price drops to just $50, a whopping $150 off list

Age hasn’t really helped the bizarre HTC Re Camera become any less awkward or feel like a stronger contender for well-established GoPros, but the latest US-only discount might just make it a must-buy at last.Available for a way too extravagant $200 a year or so back, then quickly slashed to $150, and most recently $100, the waterproof 16MP snapper now costs a measly 50 bucks from the Taiwanese ...

HTC Re YouTube live streaming coming to Android, iOS

HTC’s next flagship, the rumoured Hima (aka the One M9) didn’t make an appearance at the ongoing CES 2015 (and we’re not at all surprised), but there were enough news from the Taiwanese company to get us excited: the Desire 320 (though not a CES device per se), the Under Armour partnership bit, as well as the

HTC tipped to start 2015 with entry-level phone push

On the hardware front, much of the HTC rumor action we’ve seen as of late has focused on the flagship side: this hardware codenamed Hima, which may just play the role of the anticipated One M9. But while Hima may grab the headlines, there’s also been action on the less-well-equipped side of the scale, and earlier this week we heard rumors about the A12, supposed to be more of a mid-ranger. That model may not be alone in the ...

HTC already planning second-gen RE camera accessory for next year

Did you take advantage of HTC’s Black Friday deal and pick up its new RE camera accessory for half price? Knocking one hundred dollars off its cost sure made the unusual little gadget a lot more attractive, but maybe you’re not fully sold on it just yet. It’s that time of year again: bargain-hunters bundle up for a long night out in the cold, armed with a vacuum flask full of coffee and a checklist of the stores they’ll be hitting. HTC RE camera hit with some delays as a release date lands

October’s been a surprisingly busy month for product launches this year, and as we get ready to call it a wrap and move onward to November, it feels appropriate to look back and check it with some of those new products as they get ready to make their retail debuts. One of the more unusual devices we saw announced was the RE camera from HTC, its screen-less handheld shooter. Pre-orders have opened by now on HTC’s own website as well as with retailer Best Buy, but no official release date has ...
