Voxi Mobile is cutting the cost of 5G with a selection of Pay As You Go contracts

Youth network Voxi, from Vodafone, has today announced that it will be offering the top speeds of 5G with the low commitment of Pay As You Go. That means you can enjoy the freedom and flexibility of no contract while still accessing the fastest smartphone network speeds available in the UK.

Head straight to Voxi to find out more about Pay As You Go 5G

Despite 5G phone deals offering speeds up to ten times faster than 4G, you don't have to pay that much of an increase. Voxi will also offer an Endless Data plan with an introductory price of £30 which will last until February 2020 when it jumps to the standard price of £35.

Since Voxi offers 5G as standard, that means you won't need to do anything to get the speed when you sign-up. Vodafone provides the network infrastructure which offers the 5G to its Voxi customers spanning 77 towns and cities in the UK and Europe, with 30 of those inside the UK.

The Voxi 5G offering will come with three phone options:

Prices start at £23 per month and jump up to £53 per month for the top end option, including the new unlimited data plan.

What is Voxi?

Voxi is an MVNO. That stands for Mobile Virtual Network Operator - in other words, it uses another network's coverage and speeds (Vodafone in this instance).

While this all sounds like a convoluted way to say Voxi won't be able to keep up with the big names when it comes to speeds, all it really means is that you'll be getting the same speeds, coverage and areas as those on Vodafone.

It stands out from the crowd with three main features:

Endless social media: With Voxi, one of the key selling points is the completely unlimited use of social media you get. That means you will never use up your data while using Facebook, Whatsapp, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and Pinterest.

Endless calls and texts: With all of Voxi's plans, you'll get unlimited calls and texts. We wouldn't let this one sway you too much as most networks now offer this on all of their plans.

Endless Flexibility: Much like competitor Smarty Mobile, Voxi offers flexible monthly plans. You will be charged every 30 days and can leave whenever you want. That makes it a perfect stop-over or a safe haven for those who don't love commitment.

Virgin Media uses the EE network - the UK's fastest 4G network. That means your guaranteed to be getting access to top-level speeds. On top of that, you're getting flexible plans which offer roll-over data, free data on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Twitter, all while connected to that super-fast 4G.

This, Carphone Warehouse says, is faster on average than Vodafone, O2, Sky and Three. Of course you might want something else that these networks offer, in which case, check out our best SIM Only deals.

Since the Virgin Media Pay Monthly deals are now available on Carphone Warehouse you can also expect them on the company's other platforms including Mobiles.co.uk and e2save.

The new post-pay offering adds to the already great range of handset tariff and payment options available.”

F1 live stream: how to watch the Mexican Grand Prix 2019 online from anywhere

If Lewis Hamilton was hoping for an easy ride to claim his sixth Formula 1 championship at the Mexican Grand Prix, then Ferrari definitely didn't get the memo. But Hamilton can still take the title today, but there are two bright red cars ahead of him on the grid. You can live stream F1 with this guide - from pretty much anywhere you are - to see what happens next.

Yep, Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel occupy the front row of the grid today in Mexico. It's a great qualifying result for the Italian constructor (after Max Verstappen was penalised), but even if they manage to deny Hamilton today there's a sense of it simply delaying the inevitable - such is the Mercedes man's overall lead.

The 71-lap Mexican circuit at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City's Magdalena Mixiuhca sports park is a relatively short 4.3km, but it's intense.

Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas took the win at the last Japanese Grand Prix, making him the only driver in a position to potentially stand in the way of Hamilton. But Mexico is, as Hamilton says, the team's "achilles heel" so he's keeping his expectations grounded. All that said this could be the third straight year that Hamilton seals the titles at this track.

The race coincides with Mexico's Day of the Dead festival so expect a colourful crowd with lots of excited supporters for what should be a very intense race indeed.

Plusnet internet prices are on the rise – check out your alternative broadband deal options

Plusnet broadband customers are due to experience a price increase as the broadband provider has announced it will hike line rental and more. From December 3, charges will increase across a range of services, including call plans, for landline users. This may be the time to look elsewhere for the best broadband deals.

Line rental will make the jump to £19.99 from the current price of £18.99. For any new customers that get involved after that 3 December price hike date, this higher price will be the new standard charge for line rental.

Also being increased are Evening and Weekend call plans which jump to £5 per month from the current £4. Another pound jump can be seen on the Unlimited UK & Mobile/Anytime International call plan which will jump to £9 from £8.

Keep things cheap

Plusnet points out that additional services will get charged more. Since all call plans are additional services it will mean every single customer sees a price increase to call plans from that December 3 date. Despite the name, even the Line Rental Saver plan gets a jump in price to £209.88, up from £197.88. Although, in this case, if you've already paid for yours up front then you won't have to pay more.

That all said, it's worth noting that any customer on a Fixed Price Contract (usually as part of an introductory offer) will continue to pay the same amount for the remainder of their term. After that, of course, the price rise will take effect.

If all this is a bit hard to swallow then you may want to see what the competition is offering. We've got all the strongest broadband deals for you right here to find the perfect match for you. The Post Office has the best flat monthly price at the moment, although Vodafone is the place to be for cheap fibre.

This may actually save you money with ease as switching is simpler than ever. Read our how to switch broadband guide here to see how easy it can be.

Now you only need one password for everything thanks to TalkTalk

Great news...you'll only need to remember one password in future, thanks to the new Password Manager TalkTalk is now including as part of its SuperSafe Boost app with all broadband deals.

The app will store all your logins and passwords so account access is simple while you only use one password, and it's all kept super safe thanks to a TalkTalk and F-Secure team-up.

The app will automatically populate login details so that you don't need to remember or even input your information. You simply need to remember one master password to keep all the others secure. The advantage here is that all the passwords are generated by the app, meaning you get super secure passwords as well as greater ease. These login details work across Mac, iOS, Android and Windows.

Stay safe with your broadband deal

Phil Amy, commercial & product director at TalkTalk, said: "We’re committed to providing our customers with the very best online security, that’s why we’ve enhanced our SuperSafe Boost with protection for even more devices and added our new Password Manager app. With the convenience of only having to remember one secure password, we’ve made it even easier for our customers to stay safe online."

And TalkTalk's broadband deals are really reasonable, too. They start at a mere £17.95 per month. But by far its better value offers are on fibre, where you can get it for a very affordable £22.45 or upgrade all the way to its super speedy 67Mb fibre for only £24.95.

The SuperSafe Boost app features include antivirus, anti-theft, browsing and banking protection. There are also parental controls to keep children safe from inappropriate content, to manage their screen-time and control what apps they can install.

Everywhere else: If you've hunted high and low and still can't find anywhere showing the old 132 episodes(!) of The Walking Dead, then it might be worth giving a VPN a try to get access. Then you can potentially grab hold of them from a US or UK source.

F1 live stream: how to watch the Japanese Grand Prix 2019 online from anywhere

The 2019 Formula 1 season has reached Japan - and so has Typhoon Hagibis! All of Saturday's track activity has been cancelled. Instead, qualifying will be held before the race on Sunday. The good news is that you can still live stream F1 from wherever you are.

It isn't just the Rugby World Cup that's taking Japan by storm (if you'll excuse the weather-based statement). Eyes are also on the Grand Prix where Lewis Hamilton's top-spot continues to be undermined and may once again be shaken by the Ferrari or Red Bull boys.

This season has been exciting so far with Hamilton and team Mercedes storming ahead in the early races. But in more recent events the test of the track has proved more challenging with team Ferrari making changes that have stuck and helped them tear ahead for several races.

The current standing still has Hamilton out in front with 322 points followed by teammate Bottas with 249 then Ferrari's Leclerc with 215 closely followed by Red Bull's Verstappen at 212 then Ferrari's Vettel with 194. That places Mercedes at the top with 571 points followed by Ferrari at 409 then Red Bull at 311.

While all those big players will no doubt entertain at Suzuka, it's worth keeping an eye out for Renault this weekend as the team is testing out a new front wing which it hopes will let it target the "big points".

Lewis Hamilton has won this Grand Prix race in both 2018 and 2017 as well as 2015 and 2014. Could he win more than two in a row this year or is this his gap year where teammate Bottas or Ferrari's Leclerc claw back some points?

BT Broadband gives parents power to pause the very internet itself with Wi-Fi Controls

BT has announced a new free update, called Wi-Fi Controls, that allows parents far greater control over their internet. This new feature that now comes with all BT Broadband deals is aimed at parents that want to manage family screen time more healthily.

Of the all the many broadband deals out there right now, this new feature certainly helps BT's appeal. Wi-Fi Controls is for those with a Smart Hub 2 only, allowing more control over that device including the ability to stop the internet. Yup, using the MyBT app parents can pause the internet for specific devices.

Up to 15 devices can be controlled via the Wi-Fi Controls feature which means parents can schedule and pause the connection for as little or as long as they like. There is also the ability to set up groups, so you could have one set of rules for a certain age of children and another for a different age. The idea is to offer a way to control screen time so families can spend more time together.

Carolyn Bunting, Chief Executive of Internet Matters, commented: "One size doesn’t fit all, so setting up groups of devices that can be online at different times will help parents balance different screen time needs.

"Involving children in the process of setting age appropriate limits on how long they can spend online, at what times and on which platforms, is the best way of making sure they have a healthy mix of screen activity."

F1 live stream: how to watch the Russian Grand Prix 2019 online from anywhere

The 2019 Formula 1 season has made it to Russia where Mercedes could continue to dominate or fall again to the likes of Ferrari. Watch out Hamilton, this could be a tricky track. You can live stream the Russian Grand Prix 2019 - no matter where you are in the world - and with this handy guide you can see exactly where to watch it.

This F1 season has been filled with tyre screeching fun and that excitement is set to continue with testing track at Sochi in Russia. The track is basically a street circuit that was created from the internal roads of the 2014 Winter Olympics city. In that same year it saw its first Grand Prix which was won by Lewis Hamilton, who has won it three times so far.

Last year saw Hamilton's controversial win where teammate Bottas was ordered to let him pass to take the lead. This year sees Mercedes take more medium and hard tyres than the rest of the field. Since the track's smooth asphalt doesn't punish rubber, expect a one stop strategy for this circuit.

Hamilton leads the standings with team mate Bottas in second and Charles Leclerc or Ferrari is in third having just put Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing back into fourth following last week's race result.

F1 live stream: how to watch the Singapore Grand Prix 2019 online from anywhere

The 2019 Formula 1 season has seen Mercedes go from strength-to-strength but not without a few upsets along the way of late. Could the Singapore Grand Prix be another problem for the winning team or will Lewis Hamilton pull off another magic pole lap like last year for a super start? You can live stream F1 - no matter where you are in the world - to find out with our handy guide.

Yep, this F1 season has been filled with excitement as the racing performances delivered on everything a fan could want. The only problem, excitement wise, has been the consistency of Lewis Hamilton which means Mercedes have been the clear leader throughout the season.

That's why the Singapore Grand Prix could be a great race with its physically demanding Marina Bay Street Circuit shaking up the drivers thanks to its bumpy street surface and humid conditions. That should all favour the youth of the likes of the in form Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen – who are already nipping at the heels of relatively old man Hamilton.

Mercedes sit in the top spot for the constructors championship with Ferrari in second and Red Bull Racing following in third. Every win will count for the chasing teams as the season draws closer to the point of no return where Hamilton and his team can be chased no more. Singapore could be a key win and is not to be missed.

F1 live stream: how to watch the Italian Grand Prix 2019 online from anywhere

Qualifying may have been an oddity, but that won't matter to the Formula 1 drivers when they line up on the grid for the Italian Grand Prix today. Can Charles Leclerc find another winning performance at Ferrari's home GP after taking pole? Watch an F1 live stream of the Italian Grand Prix using this guide to find out.

The 2019 F1 season has reached Italy - can Ferrari make up points on its home soil? Mercedes currently leads with 471 points and Ferrari follows with 326, followed by Red Bull Racing at 254.

But Lewis Hamilton is still the one to beat on this track with an impressive six poles so far, making it his second best for pole behind Melbourne where he's had eight.

But with Monza expected to flatten the Ferrari SF90's power to aerodynamic efficiency even more than Spa, that could be the car to beat...just like it was in Belgium.

In short this is a really exciting race that could be a turning point for the entire season and is not one to be missed. You can see all the exciting racing using an F1 live stream from anywhere in the world – here's how.
