Upgraded Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 pops up in benchmark, 64-bit included

When Android 5.0 Lollipop landed last year, one of the most important features was full support for 64-bit CPUs. Now that the software supports it, it’s only a matter of time before devices start being made to make full use of the software – it’s only natural – and just as Senior Editor Joe Levi predicted, 64-bit is already starting to become one of the trends in 2015. That’s why it isn’t surprising at all to have come across today ...

Samsung shares Galaxy Tab 4 US release pricing, dates

Back at the start of the month, Samsung announced its latest series of Android tablets: not the TabPROs we got back in winter, nor the rumored OLED tablets that may still be in development, but the plane-Jane regular Tab 4 models. Leaks didn’t make them out to be particularly well-equipped models, but at least the official specs Samsung ultimately delivered were slightly better than rumors would have us believe. Galaxy Tab 4 leaks list sizes, specs, model numbers galore

It was only yesterday when we first heard of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 4. Armed with a single model number, we uncovered a UAProf document for the tablet that revealed a 1280 x 800 resolution – and knowing nothing more at the time, it sure seemed like the Tab 4 would arrive as a much lower-end option than the TabPROs Samsung revealed back at the CES. If that was just the start of a little Tab 4 drip, today sees the fire hose open full-stream, ...
