Bitly finally gets an Android app

Is it too short, too late? Or does Bitly have what it takes to own its first-party link-shortening app on Android?Well, it has happened. Version 1.0.1 of the Bitly Android app was launched yesterday. Pretty simple enough: you pop a link into the app or via a highlight and you’ll get served a bit.ly link. You can then share that link with whoever you want. You also get traffic information for links as well.There are no big automation cogs, nor is there a way to favorite links or sort them into folders for quick and easy future sharing,
