At the MWC last week, Nokia certainly delivered: in addition to the Nokia X we were all expecting, we also got those X+ and XL variants. But beyond this new Android project, we’ve also been tracking rumors about a number of Windows Phone handsets, and despite some of them having been hanging around for months, they were no-shows at MWC. We were expecting Nokia to wow us at MWC 2014 with a decent amount of Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Oddly, Windows Phone 8.1 was announced, but Nokia focused on announcing entry-level Asha products, and even its new Nokia X Android smartphone line-up.
