NFC is about standard on all high-end Android smartphones nowadays and the Samsung Galaxy S III has it, and so does the Note II. However, Samsung implemented the functionality differently on the S III than on the Note II. While the Galaxy S III has the antenna inside the battery itself the Note II has it on the battery cover touching the phone via two contacts.
