Stephen Elop less likely to become Microsoft CEO, claims report

The speculation continues regarding Microsoft’s future CEO, who will take the place of retired ex-CEO Steve Ballmer. Last we heard about the topic it was Alan Mulally, current Ford CEO, that was mentioned as a future possible “caretaker” CEO for Microsoft, after which he would most likely hand it over to someone like Stephen Elop, Tony Bates, Kevin Turner, or Satya Nadella. This latest report from Bloomberg mentions Alan Mulally and Satya Nadella as the main candidates the Board is looking at.
