Second-gen Moto G shows up in LTE form on Brazilian Motorola site

One of the omissions with the second-gen Moto G that we weren’t so happy about was LTE access. The device caps out at HSPA+ speeds and isn’t capable of accessing the best networks US carriers have to offer, which made it an even worse buy for some than last year’s LTE Moto G model (first-gen). Now, it looks as though the second-gen Moto G may be getting the same treatment, considering the fact that Motorola’s Brazilian site seemingly leaked information about a 2014 Moto G LTE variant.According to the specifications that were briefly live on the website, two things ...

The new Moto G vs Moto G: spec by spec comparison

The Moto G was Motorola’s best-selling device in company history, and that was for one simple reason: it offered reasonable specs for a reasonable price, and people loved that. But can the new Moto G follow in the footsteps, and fill the shoes of its older brother behemoth? Let’s find out in our specs comparison between the new Moto G vs Moto G (the old one).First of all, the screen is bigger on the new G, but that equals a sacrifice in pixel density. The new Moto G from Motorola goes official, a great phone at a great price

Motorola’s most popular phone ever was the Moto G, because with that phone, the company proved that cheap hardware doesn’t have to equal terrible performance. As evidenced by our review of that product, we were quite fond of it, and some of us wouldn’t even mind using it every single day in place of a powerful flagship. Now the Moto G is getting a successor, as the new Moto G looks to improve even further upon last ...
